Lake access is nearby with a selection of excellent beaches. Reserve opposite. Only 3 minutes by car to boat ramp. WiFi, Netflix, a wide range of indoor games available along with up to date magazines, DVD collection and library. There is also a table tennis table, 2 mountain bikes, cricket set, rugby ball, soccer ball available for your use. Enjoy lake edge walks, swimming, fly fishing or explore the lake. Ten minutes drive to the Landing Cafe and Buried Village. 15 minute drive to mountain bike carpark to access 150km+ of world famous Whakarewarewa mountain bike trails and the Forest Loop Great Ride. Super peaceful and a beautiful setting. It’s got a rainforest feel to it. The driveway is a bit steep, but you can park our car on the bottom and take the stairs. Super clean, spacious, unbeatable views! Host had excellent communication and jept us updated of local lake conditions (one morning lake wasnt swimmable due to some work in the area so they let us know). Also left loads of info about where to eat and what to do.
