The Northstar shuttle system was incredibly convenient—just download the app, and a van picks you up right at your door to take you to the mountain. The living area has tons of light with high ceilings and large windows and there are a lot of nice touches with condiments, oils, salt and pepper as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all of the showers. The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was such a nice treat after a day of skiing. Our only challenge was with the steep driveway. It was definitely difficult to navigate with the winter conditions and I would encourage the management company to ensure that it's cleared on a daily basis. Dec 3, 2022 #### Northstar Home Away From Home We had the most amazing 4 days at Northstar Home Away From Home! It is such a beautiful home with so much space and amazing views. Everything was impeccably clean and the home was comfortable and inviting. Northstar ski resort is literally a few minutes drive and Palisades only 30 minutes. We honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect "home base" for our skiing adventures and Tahoe getaway. We will absolutely be recommending this rental to friends and family and hope to return ourselves someday! ##### Riannon L. May 6, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Perfect Paradise My husband and I took our 16 month old daughter and 11 year old husky on a last minute trip to Tahoe because we're not sure how much longer our old girl has and we wanted to get her to the snow. There weren't many dog-friendly properties available last minute but we decided to splurge on this one (big house for just us three + a dog) - and we were so glad we did. It was peaceful and just so perfect for us. We brought a baby gate, sleds and blackout shades of our own but they had all of that stuff there. This was our first trip with a toddler so it was a nice surprise to see a rental with stuff that \*we\* almost forgot! The trip got off to a rocky start and we ended up having to go up a day later than we had booked but they were so amazing and let us bump our trip instead of us just missing out on a day (which I fully expected to have to eat). The house is a split level with the main living space being upstairs. We honestly couldn't decide where to stay because both areas were so great. It is an awesome layout for a big family, two families or a group of friends. The kitchen had literally everything you could ever need. There were games and plenty of things to watch on TV when we wanted to relax after putting the baby to bed. The view is so peaceful. We walked right out the back to our own snow heaven! Our daughter had a great time just wandering around in the snow. Couldn't say more about this property. We really enjoyed it and will absolutely be back, with friends, or just our little family. It's worth the splurge to enjoy the peace by ourselves! 10/10 would recommend! ##### Nicole R.
