We are within walking distance of Boulder and Stagecoach ski lifts on the Nevada side of the mountain. Minutes from Casinos and Lake Tahoe with numerous hiking trails near by. He is very nice and allowed us to check in an hour early upon arrival. This place has plenty of beds for large groups. Loved that they allowed our furry friends to join us too. The beds were all really comfortable, with clean sheets and nice pillows. The overall cleanliness of the place was good. Bathrooms and showers were nice. Loved that every room has its own tv. The firepit on the deck was great to have in the evenings. our only negatives would be that while we were there, it was quite hot. Even though the basement rooms (2) have ac, it did not seem to work well. They do have a lot of fans for every room, but it was still very stiffling to be inside during the day and we did still get hot at night even after it cooled down. Mike did inform us that they were having unusally hot weather, so it could just be the time we went (over July 4th). Lastly, the stairs... Not much you can do about them but you do have to walk up and down a good amount of stairs to get to the place. Taking stuff down to the house wasn't as bad and loading things up and taking them out on our last day. Just be prepared for the stairs if you stay here. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and we really enjoyed ourselves. ##### Tara j.
