"Very nice hotel"
This is our first trip to South Lake Tahoe and this hotel was highly recommended to me by a friend. A nice clean hotel, quiet, and courtesy staff. The only negative is the check-in and ckeck-out time as the hours are terrible. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. I am not the only one complaint about this issue as there are many others also have negative feedback on this. Hotel management should listen to the customers and make the appropriate changes.

"Beautiful place with every amenity possible"
Total "resort" from swimming pools, food, games to play with our kids (a gigantic checkers game on the lawn), work out room, bike rental etc. food was "okay" and you will want to go off grounds to explore after a couple days food wise. Overall great experience and we are going back

Great location in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Close to everything. Staff was amazing. So attentive and friendly. Best ever. Had live music every night! Awesome. Only exception was Friday's Restaurant. Way over priced and sub standard food. Service was exemplary but, it is hard to get past a very, very expensive and sub par lobster tail and sides were mediocre at best. Other than that, will definitely be back and recommend to all our friends and family.

"My new favorite place to stay in South Lake Tahoe!"
Got a chance to stay here for 50% off through Expedia, and jumped at the chance. I knew that the photos looked cool, but I had no idea what a great place this is until we arrived. What the owners have created is, truly, something special. From the location, to the "vibe," to the staff, to the beer garden, to the fire pits, to the Airstream trailer -- this was really, really fun. Is it the nicest place I've ever stayed? Not by a long shot. But in my mind it ranks highly as one of the most interesting, homey, comfortable, and enjoyable places I've ever stayed. There is nothing corporate about it. It's a hotel with personality. It made my vacation, and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
