"Central location"
great hotel, accommodated me my husband and 3 yr and 4 month old. 1 villa suite was perfect and laundry was a plus. We did not pay 30 per night to valet park. if you walk across the state line the older casinos had big parking lots and we parked there with out trouble or cost. highly recommend for families.

"Offers many things to do "
Many things to do regardless of the time of year. The staff is very accommodating. The rooms and facility are a little dated but still clean and nice..

We were just above the air conditioners on the roof and had a lot of noise from those, and the bed could have been better.

Basecamp South Lake Tahoe

4143 Cedar Ave, South Lake Tahoe - Map
We had a great time here. But they had a wedding reception that they didn't notify us about before our stay which took up about half of the amenities and fire pits on the property. I wish we would have known about that, or possibly have been compensated for not being able to use every asset at basecamp. Beside that, everything else is great, I wish they had a better breakfast menu as well that would compensate people that can't eat waffles or pastries.... All in all we love this place and will probably go back.

"Cozy Cottage feel"
This was a great little hotel with an updated cottage woodsy feel. It was walking distance to the lake and the village shops. I would stay here again!

"Great Location, Walk to everywhere!"
Easy check in, great location. Easy walk to private beach (passes included), casinos, shopping, restaurants and bars. Smaller room but comfortable beds. Clean, Spa was a little dirty but not horrible nice on a COLD night. Breakfast was good (eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles) but get there early, it gets crowded and lines for food get a little pushy. For the money, definitely a good value.
