"It's a casino-type hotel"
It was about what one would expect for casino accommodations. Harvey's no longer offers a buffet; one needs to cross the street to their companion hotel, Harrahs, for that. Was disappointed in the quality of their food offerings at Harveys. Was not up to their older standard.

"Great hotel and location "
Hotel was perfect for our Labor Day visit. Location was great for walking around and eating without having to get into your car. And the facilities are very family friendly.

Many things to do regardless of the time of year. The staff is very accommodating. The rooms and facility are a little dated but still clean and nice..

We had a great time here. But they had a wedding reception that they didn't notify us about before our stay which took up about half of the amenities and fire pits on the property. I wish we would have known about that, or possibly have been compensated for not being able to use every asset at basecamp. Beside that, everything else is great, I wish they had a better breakfast menu as well that would compensate people that can't eat waffles or pastries.... All in all we love this place and will probably go back.

"Hotel south lake tahoe close to Heavenly"
Truly enjoy the stay at Park Tahoe Inn. Currently under renovations. We've stayed here with our dog many times throughout the years and the conditions were good. The rooms were still under renovations, but we can see how nice it will be in the future. Close to shops and the Heavenly gondola.
