"Nice location. "
When we were put into our first room, the smell of mold hit me when we walked in. After a long journey, I just wanted to lay down. I kicked off my shoes and went to draw the curtains. my socks became soaked from the carpet. That's where the smell came from. I called the desk. They sent up an engineer and he said "Yes. That's wet". "This room is always like this." I called the desk and they moved me to another room. It was great. The rest of the stay was fine. The hotel is in a great location.

"Very nice resort with a great view of Squaw Valley"
Very nice resort overlooking Squaw Valley mountains! Ski-in and Ski -out, if you are an intermediate to expert skier. Great shuttle service to Squaw Valley ski village. Rooms were very nice, clean, and well maintained. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Three opportunities for improvement, high cost for outdoor Valet parking, $35/day should be $15-25/day max. Secondly, ice rink wasn't well maintained, so couldn't do ice skating or broom ball. Third, Cascade restaurant served a fantastic breakfast buffet, but no A-la-cart menu and wasn't open for lunch or dinner. Need extra dinning capacity and choices at dinner. If cost is an issue open up on weekends only Friday through Sunday. Overall 4 out of 5 star rating! :-)

"Quiet location close to gondola "
Overall a good experience. There was a slight issue with our room not being available but resolved quickly. Great breakfast. Family room great but beds too soft - they could replace mattresses. Also room smelled musty, carpet looked like it could use deep clean/replacement.

"Perfect spot to explore all of south lake tahoe"
Loved the location of the hotel, the updates were really nice but they still had alot of work to do. the hotel Front lobby and back bar area were nice and the jacuzzi was perfect after a long day onnthe slopes. They had fire pits in the front where you can get warm after those cold nights. Overall great for place to stay at in south lake tahoe.
