Bonito hotel tipo campamento

Posted 21-Jul-2016
El hotel es diferente sin embargo deja mucho que desear. Se ve un poco descuidado, el personal poco amable, el desayuno muy pobre.

The staff was great with all questions I had. The room was very modern and pretty spacious. Definitely the place I'll be staying every year for the 4th!

Nice pad

Posted 3-Jul-2016
Pros: Style
Cons: Breakfast, maybe a pool??!!
Location: Great place to explore Lake Tahoe.
We were a bit thrown out on arrival to South Lake Tahoe, as it was a lot more touristy than we expected. However, the hotel was a bit of a safe haven in the middle of the town. It is stylish, new and hip, without loosing on comfort. The beach is a few minutes walk and there are nice places to eat nearby. We only stayed one night and had a good time. The mattress was too soft for us, but in spite of that I would say it's probably one of the best options in town from what I could see!

Older inn but completely/newly renovated rooms

Posted 19-Jun-2016
While the hotel itself didn't have very many amenities, they have various fire pit/sitting areas, 2 hot tubs, and a a Beer Garden open late. Both family friendly and adult friendly. Within walking distance of both the Stateline casinos and the heavenly village, and they will provide you with a free pass to a beach about a 10 minute walk down the road. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was friendly and helpful. I only wish there had been a mini fridge in the room.

Not for families

Posted 14-May-2016
Pros: The look and location only.
Cons: A better breakfast if you're going to advertise it as an accomodation. A more interested in other human beings front desk staff.
Location: Great location. Base camp pizza in Heavenly Village is what great pizza and excellent customer service is all about.
The hotel was decorated with a fresh industrial vibe but seemed more about the look than the content or service. It would be great for singles or couples but as we had children we did not utilize the grounds. I've had much better breakfasts than this one. The waffles were terrible and bland, no butter for the waffles and toast (apparently it was on order...go buy some butter seriously) and only orange juice which my son is allergic to so no juice for him. Try apple and cranberry like every other place. The beds were comfortable and the location was great for walking to Heavenly Village for food and a movie but the front desk was not interested in being helpful or explaining anything. Still some work to do. Just OK.

Easy walk to the Heavenly gondola

Posted 12-Apr-2016
This is a fun place. Nice decor friendly staff. But it is really a motel and you can hear your neighbors and feel them walking over head. We chose the "deluxe King" option but other than avoiding the ground floor and offering a small balcony I am not sure what made the room deluxe. There was nowhere to sit except in the one desk chair. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom small but clean. breakfast was a nice addition but some yogurt or hard boiled eggs would have been appreciated. We asked about the breakfast sandwiches to purchase but we're told they were out of supplies. When we tried to order a sausage we were told the cook wasn't available. Overall, it's a cool idea with a convenient location and fun decor.
