Hiked the next day at jackrabbit trail, drove some scenic roads, fall colors were fantastic. Went to Lake Placid the next day, did gondola and zipline at the ski jump center, walked around town, then hiked the cobble trail which was a good uphill trail with a nice view at the top. We then went back to the ski jump to watch them practice, it was cool. As far as accommodations, there was not a table to eat on or to play games in the room, there is a table and chairs on the porch. ##### Roger P. The problem was that the walls are paper thin, and the room is just off of their residence and kitchen. At 4 AM, one of the hosts was up and making breakfast, so we were woken up and couldn’t get back to sleep for a while. Then when we did get back to sleep, it happened again some time later. Owners are very thorough and helpful. Renters should be aware that it's a bedroom in a building that serves as a permanent residence for others, although it's completely independent thereof, with its own entrance.
