Wood burning fireplace. 2 full baths. 2 bedrooms with a separate sleeping loft.over 1700 feet of living space. Central Air Conditioning. walking distance to the municipal beach, main street and Olympic Arena. Main street offers numerous restaurants, shopping and water craft rentals including canoes, kayaks, paddle boarding. Stay in the heart of Lake Placid miracles have been made for centuries. With 1800 square feet, plenty of room for guests to sprawl out comfortably. There is a private patio off the main living room, and a deck off the loft area to enjoy outdoor living from both levels in the units. 55" plasma TV's, full cable and wifi. Each unit has it's own private entrance into the unit from the parking area. Unit features a private patio from the living room, and a private deck from the loft area. Deck and patio chairs are provided. The Algonquin Lodge, the office located at the Lake Placid Club Lodges at 30 Lake Placid Club Way, where you will check in upon arrival, is fully staffed 7 days a week. They will contact you prior to arrival to ensure a effortless check in procedure. The office will offer the most up to date activities during your visit. The location of the Lake Placid Club Lodges are within walking distance to the Olympic Arena, skating oval and numerous restaurants and shopping on main street. The convenience of the club's location, offers visitors walking distance the Lake Placid village main street. Starting at the Olympic Arena, and Convention center, speed skating oval, there are numerous ethnic restaurant's and shopping from unique Adirondack keepsakes to outdoor outfitters are all within minutes from the lodges location. We didn’t realize when we rented that this is not a lived in property but a time share. It was bad enough that we had to buy wood for the fireplace, but there were no matches in the unit to start the fire. When I called and asked about there being no matches I was told by the front desk of the property that they ran out. Pathetic. Many rules to follow. Had lo leave cabinets open under all of the sinks to keep the pipes from freezing. I wonder if the owners ever tried to actually address the issue. There was a bare minimum of plates and glasses. I’m actually surprised there were coffee filters. Nothing in the refrigerator when we got there (condiments, etc) and we were instructed to leave nothing behind. ##### Lewis W. The view, the active fireplace, the PERSONAL SAUNA not even advertised, the jetted tub, and the local atmosphere were all to die for! For these reasons, we'll absolutely come back. The local Pub was a great place to go and feel like locals. But.... The couch was stiff, the queen bed was stiff, the twin beds were stiff, the pillows were flat. There was no air movement in either bedroom. The common area had good airflow and the pull out bed, although not the best, was the most comfortable of the house. Beds were too firm for my husband and me and we slept uncomfortably and separately. The open floor plans and overall ambiance was great but the sleeping situation is not for everyone. ##### Alyssa G.
