It was a good central location for what we wanted to fo. The 28 slide canva presentation sent via email was not accurate and trying to communicate with staff was difficult. The unit is dated but very comfortable. Pool was great!!

If I could give zero stars I would. To start, we were catfished with the photos of the property. It didn’t look like the photos, ie size, decks, cleanliness. There were spiderwebs EVERYWHERE!!! Hair in the bathtubs… and the odor was horrific!! I don’t know what the deal is with the septic system, but every time we flushed the toilet, the entire house smelled of raw sewage. Disgusting! I also inquired about kayak rentals before even booking the stay and I was assured there’d be kayaks available. This is the sole reason we booked the stay! And when we got there, the kayaks were rented out - because they only have TWO KAYAKS!! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!

This treetop rental has a sewer lift station underneath it. Something malfunctioned and stunk us off the porch for the majority of our lake weekend. Host company was quick to respond to send someone to fix it (and he said it’d been broken for awhile…), but it wasn’t fixed for most of our trip and hosts couldn’t be bothered to, at a minimum, apologize (or offer another rental, a partial refund, etc)As far as this rental: there are far more rentals in the area that are of higher quality for not that much more in price. Porch is small and hard to use on this one, furnishings are cheap. Pay a little bit more from one of the local owner operators and you’ll get a better rental.

#### Great Value With Caveats 

Overall we are pleased with our stay. The view is beautiful, and the house is located on a quiet cove and is close to one of the pools. The house was clean with the exception of the carpets. Rentors should note that there is a very steep spiral staircase leading to the second bedroom and laundry room on the lower level; also, the upstairs bedroom has 1 queen bed, and the downstairs bedroom has 1 queen as well. It's important to note that the 3rd queen bed on the listing is actually a pull-out couch in the upstairs living room. The living room does feature a screen that can be pulled out to offer separation from the dining area and kitchen. We just needed 2 beds so this did not affect our stay, but if you're renting for a larger group it could be an issue. The kitchen was well stocked and fit our needs, but would be challenging to cook large meals in due to the size of the kitchen and the oven. The back deck is fully functional but is small and has a slight lean to it. We had a very pleasant stay and this property offers great bang for your .
