Getting There Lake of the Ozarks is less than three hours from Kansas City and St. Louis. The travel is primarily interstate and highway with some rural highways and local lake roads. This destination is less than 1/2-day drive from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, and Illinois. The closest international airport is KCI - Kansas City or STL-St Louis, Regional airports can be found in Columbia and Springfield. The home sits on the back of a no-wake cove leaving beautiful views of the Lake. We are on the 2-mile marker which is close to EVERYTHING. The property manager went above and beyond meeting a special request, and was very responsive to any questions before and during our stay. Everything we needed was available for all ages from high chairs to toddler bed railing to cooking/grilling utensils.I left my only car key fob there and they retrieved it the next day, overnighted it for me without charge. I have never have experienced service like this before.
