"The house was great and the area is amazing. Very quiet and peaceful with tons of wildlife. Saw so many deer - definitely keep your eyes open and follow the posted speed limit!"

"Property is well maintained and absolutely perfect! The dock allows the use of two kayaks which were a hit for our boys. Public boat launch is just down the ride. Enjoyed lounging on a raft in the lake, kayaking or taking beautiful sunset pictures. We said we would be back!! "

"We have been coming to Upper Eau Claire for many years staying with our close friends. When this place popped up to rent we couldn't believe it because nothing is ever for rent on Upper. Wonderful cabin and great lot. Loved it."

"Excellent vacation home very close to Hayward for all Birke activities! Pet friendly and also fully equipped kitchen for home cooked meals, staying home with our pet was important to us!"

"Location was good for our itinerary which included a trip to Bayfield plus some hiking and a day on the UTV trails. Beautiful scenery at the home, but it seems house had a problem with mice that should get fixed. Overall we enjoyed our stay once we accepted we would share the space with some uninvited guests. 😁"
