Set on a mix of flat table land and rugged Canadian Shield, the property offers the best of Muskoka: towering white pines, granite outcrops, and winding forested trails. The shoreline includes both shallow, sandy entry for easy swimming and deep, clear water (20+ feet) off the dock—perfect for diving, lounging, or launching your canoe or paddleboard. With east, south, and west exposure, you’ll enjoy sunrise coffee on the dock, sun-filled days by the lake, and evening wine by the firepit as the sun sets behind the trees and the call of loons echoes across the water.

Outdoors, expansive decks and seating areas offer multiple spaces to enjoy the spectacular views. A second stone-and-wood outbuilding on the property has also been upgraded and now functions as a bunkie, studio, or private workspace—ideal for creative retreats or extra guest accommodation.
The rental comes with 2 paddle boards and 1 kayak and a fire pit (please bring your own firewood or speak with our concierge team about purchasing our firewood / smores package)
The swimming off the dock is not weedy it is very clear and deep. (Also a very clean and warm spring fed lake).
At the beach it has lotus flower stems that are weedy. But once your further out you don’t notice.
Just five minutes from Baysville, you’ll have easy access to local shops, a great brewery, the public library, and even Lake of Bays. Yet, once you arrive at Echo Lake Escape, you may never want to leave.
Whether you’re looking for a peaceful family holiday, a romantic hideaway, or an inspiring place to write, paint, or play music, this unforgettable retreat offers privacy, beauty, and soul in equal measure.
Please note due to the shallow nature of the water you will not be able to dock your boat on the dock.
