First the lobby wreaked of chemical disinfectant. The door lock did not work on the first room we were given so clerk gave us another room. It also wreaked of chemicals, had a filthy chair and carpeting with stains all over them, a lamp shade hanging off the lamp, holes in the wall and the back of the bathroom door. We went back to the desk clerk, told her the room was disgusting but she stated it was an “older property and undergoing renovation. The next room we were offered seemed acceptable but after dinner, we returned to find water on the bathroom floor because the sink was leaking. The TV didn’t work at all, there were wires hanging from the ceiling where there should’ve been a smoke detector, holes in the walls, filthy carpeting, no telephone and unpainted walls where pictures had been but we were exhausted and chose to stay.. At 3:30 a.m., someone was throwing huge items into a dumpster outside our room(that lasted about 3 mins). The next morning a man knocked at our door and opened it then closed it. When I opened the door, he asked me if we had checked in the night before without identifying himself stating his system was broken and walks away. When we checked out this same man was at the front desk and said he was the manager. When I tried to discuss the issues we had with our room, he dismissed me stating it was my problem, got very defensive and rude and did not offer any resolution but walked away saying “have a good day”. Worst experience ever!!!
