"It was historic and unique, walking distance to a local tavern. The staff made us a bonfire and joined my grandson and me for an unwinding evening. We were awakened by the sound of the breakfast bell!!! ( our alarm didn’t go off)! There was a fly fishing shop and I want to go back and renew my skills! "

"Very nice place. It is nicely decorated and appears newly updated. The bedrooms were more spacious than I expected. We enjoyed the fire pit. The owners seemed to anticipate guests’ needs and anything we wished for was already provided."

"The price for the rooms were great. The rooms were clean. I did not like that. Our entrance door top hinge was broke off hard to close the door complained to the front desk twice, and it wasn’t fixed."

"Absolutely one of the cleanest rooms and bathrooms I’ve ever seen. And I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and motels. Owners were very accommodating as well. And they even had a reverse osmosis system in the bathroom sink. I’ve never seen that. So great! We’re definitely staying there again next year when we go back. Thank you River country motor lodge! "
