NEWLY BUILT - --SANDPIPER TOO-- Beautiful luxury log cabin with 3 full bathrooms/ 3 large master bedroom suites and a 4th open bedroom with game room/ 2nd living room and log bunk bed set and queen sofa sleeper, all surrounded by a wrap- around, fully enclosed deck with seating and log swing. Lower level has French doors in bedroom and door in game room out to the lower deck with hot tub. Walking distance to waterfall, private beach, lakes and river. Close to snow tubing and ski resorts! Sleeps up to 12, 10 in beds with air mattress available to sleep up to 12. Beautiful, large, private, secluded log cabin getaway located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Lake Lure NC with private lakes, beach, river and waterfall!. Located in the spectacular mountain setting of "Riverbend", a gated mountain community with over 3,500 acres of pristine mountain beauty with two private lakes ,river ,waterfall, an old fashioned swimming hole. Great hiking surrounded by mountain views and abundant wild life. Walk down to the stream on property. Private and serene but 10 minutes from lake and riverside dining Minutes away from town of Chirmney Rock! Asheville and Hendersonville also nearby and offer great shopping/ dining/ activities as well! Riverbends' private beach at Mirror Lake has a fishing pier, a large pavilion overlooking the lake with rocking chairs and picnic tables as well as barbeque pits and beautiful mountain views (bathrooms also). Our canoes and kayaks are stored near the beach/lake. Walk across the road from the beach to the Broad River (with a waterfall and small rapids (perfect for tubing!). Enjoy fishing from the pier, swimming in the lake or playing in the river! Western North Carolina has so much to do! From Lake Lure beach which offers the Lake with a beautiful beach surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains and a children's play area with water slide, lifeguards on duty! Lake Lure was voted one of the most beautiful lakes in the country by National Geographic. There are a number of golf courses in area and also putt putt, tennis, horseback riding, a gem mine, hiking at Chimney Rock Park, zip lining, lake side and river side dining, white water rafting and much more. Nearby attractions include Asheville and Biltmore Estate and Winery, Blue Ridge Parkway, Hendersonville, numerous nearby winerie and breweries, including Crooked Tree and Parker Bins, Dollywood, Great Smokey National Park, Grandfather Mountain, Carowinds Amusement Park, Sliding Rock, North Carolina Arboretum and so much more. Also, nearby, newly built Tryon International Horse Equestrian Center. It is 15 miles away and has many restaurants and activities. Wintertime, visit nearby ski slopes and snow tubing. We are centrally located to many different activities! Riverbend is only minutes away from beautiful Lake Lure , Chimney Rock State Park. and Chimney Rock Village and the Flowering Bridge. The large 4-bedroom cabin is up on a hill surrounded by huge decks with seating including rocking chairs, chairs, a hand-crafted log picnic table and a charcoal grill. The lower deck has a large hot tub. The driveway is up a hill with parking for 3 to 4 cars. We brought two cars and one ALMOST tipped over. Please take the Baptist Church route as shown in the description. Be advised the other route is VERY steep. I can't remember the description on the VRBO site, but basically I think the cabin and the description matched. I recall comments about the driveway, and indeed, it is very steep, but as long as you keep to the right hand side, it's doable. The deck was wonderful, and we sat there every morning. The weather was quite hot, but the A/C worked well. We were 5, but 8 could sleep comfortably as long as 6 of them are happy sharing queen size beds. If you have kids, there is one bunk bed for 2 kids (or adults). The cabin could use a few things. The kitchen needs bowls and teaspoons (there are 2 of each). The lighting in the main room is pretty dark, especially if you want to do a puzzle, but there isn't a good puzzle table anyway. We did a couple that we brought, but it meant we couldn't eat at the dining table. We had no issues, so didn't need to communicate with the owners. I feel confident they would have responded quickly had we needed them. Overall it was a very nice interlude. ##### Anne O. Liz has thought of everything beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. I would recommend 4 wheel drive as driveway is slippery we needed it when it rained. Also, it is not directly on lake a short drive to the lake. Cabin has use of kayaks and paddleboards which was great as well. ##### Rebecca C. The cabin is well laid out with plenty of room for everyone. We LOVED spending evenings on the wrap around porch playing games and grilling out. We brought our little French Bulldog and she soooooo loved the deck, it has a locking gate that allowed her to enjoy the outdoors without concern of her curiosity tempting her to wander off. Liz was great accommodating late night arrivals for part of us. She was also awesome and in constant contact with us when power was lost due to a truck hitting a nearby power line. Even with unforseen situations out of her control, she was on the phone with the power company and we had power restored in about an hour. Thank you Liz😊 ##### Sherry M.
