Rooms with a View Lake Lure has it all! While the lake is still in recovery, the view from this luxury home is stunning and there are plenty of fun things to do with family and friends at the house, including outdoor fire pit, hot tub, pool & foosball tables, video games, corn hole boards, etc. This luxury home, built in 2007, has been completely updated in 2017 with additional improvements in 2020, new hardwood flooring, fresh paint, electric car charger, wood/tile floors, newly added in-suite bathrooms, updated kitchen with new appliances, granite countertops and all new furniture. Outdoor environment is exquisite, including new patio furniture, 6 person hot tub, large fire pit and outdoor shower. The inside of the home is very spacious, main level has fully stocked kitchen with magnificent view of lake & mountains, including Chimney Rock. Large table seats 8 with additional seating in the bar and at kitchen counter. Bar/sunroom area has seating for 7 with a high def flat screen TV for game days. Master suite has large bathroom with soaking tub, double vanity and beautiful tile shower, king size bed and daybed, perfect for families with little ones. Top floor is a 2 bedroom suite with in-suite bathrooms and privacy door at hallway access point, loft with spectacular Mountain View and sleeper sofa for additional guests. The basement is completely finished with tile floors, custom wood trim, wet bar, beverage fridge, microwave, 2 bedroom suite, large full bathroom with double vanity, nice tile shower, large sectional sofa with 60 inch flat screen for movie night, pool table, foosball table and multi-game retro standup arcade game. Your kids are going to love it! Basement has spectacular Mountain View and walks out to the beautiful patio and fenced in yard with hot tub, fire pit & outdoor shower. Corn Hole boards also on site for your use. Spacious main level deck has amazing views of Lake Lure and the mountains, including Chimney Rock. Community has private dock/boat slips with lake access, just drive or walk around 2 blocks to enjoy the waters of Lake Lure (unfortunately, this is not available for use currently, as Lake is still in recovery from Hurricane Helene.). Parking is available at the pier for your trailer along with wet slips (boat launch not available at this pier, but very close by). When lake is opened back up, boat rentals can be delivered to our pier and kept at the neighborhood pier to use and store during your stay, on a first come first serve basis. The home is large enough for the big family vacation and cozy enough for the 3 or 4 couple weekend. All three levels are setup for privacy and comfort while enjoying your family vacation. Parking is no problem! Large driveway connects to oversize 2 car garage with electric car charger. Additional parking available behind the home. \*\*Dogs are welcome and there is a $150 pet fee with 2 dog maximum. May 5, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Annual Girls Trip Myself and nine other senior ladies stayed at this amazing home for 4 days/nights. The home was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen, large and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, and plenty of sitting areas inside and out (the retractable awning on the deck is wonderful). The location is great! Just a few miles from Lake Lure Flowering Bridge and Chimney Rock State Park. We all felt this was the best house, for the 10 of us, that we have ever stayed in. All men are over 6 feet and appreciated king beds. Three areas for group gatherings were great. Good space for all or partial groups. We cooked all our meals and found the kitchen well stocked and efficient. There was a problem with large burner on the stove, so we left it off and used the rest. Came in after dark and had a bit of trouble finding the property. Roads and driveway are steep and narrow. Try to arrive in daylight. We all had a great time. Host was very helpful and accommodating. Be sure you are ready for the hills because walking back/forth to community dock or most anywhere requires you to climb several steep ones. The house and property are well-maintained, kitchen well-stocked and house clean. When we did need to ask for help, the owner was quick to respond. We saw several bears while walking in the neighborhood and one walked right across the yard and driveway while the 1 year old was being put in the stroller for a walk. While the mom and dad were a bit unnerved, the bear looked at them with no interest and proceeded on his way to where ever he was headed. Aug 13, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy #### Spectacular views This was our first time at Lake Lure, and this house was perfectly situated to enjoy beautiful views, particularly at sunrise and sunset. The layout of the house could not have been better for our group, and we did take advantage of the game room. We found the beds comfortable, and all the refrigerator space was appreciated. We spent our first day at Chimney Rock State Park, which was amazing. We also rented a boat for a 1/2 day, which was a lot of fun for the group, and the kids especially enjoyed the rope swing. We loved Flowering Bridge. My negative impressions concern the towns of Chimney Rock and Lake Lure - there's very little in the way of shopping that isn't fudge and over-priced tchotchkes. One has to shop at Ingles for groceries. The private pier associated with the house was not at all appealing for swimming, and it was a pretty good hike from the house in any case. We typically like access to a pool for the little ones, and neither of the resorts offer day passes for visitors, so all activities on the lake require a boat rental, or admission to the municipal beach, which is rather charmless. This is a vacation location most suited to boaters. ##### Susan B.
