There were 7 of us, and we stayed 7 nights. I LOVED the stairs that took us directly to the river, and so did my pug. We went with friends who stayed on the top floor, which was more of a den than a bedroom; it didn't have a door, so it lacked privacy, and they had a half bath (sink and toilet, no shower). But it had a desk, and one of them had to work a few days, so it served that purpose. The bottom floor was very spacious; it was like an apartment on its own, with a large sitting area, a breakfast table, four bunk beds, and its own bathroom; this area was perfect for kids. It also has a TV, games, and an air hockey table. I would love to see this area after the town has been fully recovered from Hurricane Helene. Also, if you are staying here, it's ideal to drive a 4x4\.
