The house was not ready to be stayed in for five people! On the staying night, water (including toilet water and tap water) and tissue facial paper had already run out of supply. Also, wifi cannot be connected at all. And one of the room light was not working and kept blinking. The house does not worth the price it cost totally. My friends and I were really disappointed that we think some sort of compensation or refund should be provided but in vain after contacting Expedia. Bad experience ever in Expedia!

Although a bit remote from nearby attractions, the peace and quiet and natural beauty made the drive worthwhile. The cabin was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. If you want serene surroundings, wallaby visits and black swans on the lake, this is the place for you!

Great place to stay
Our stay here was excellent. The location was perfect, waking up to views of the lake and seeing all the wildlife was great. The cabin was exactly as described and was very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely views across Lake Yalleena - made for a really relaxing outlook. Natalie is a great host who made you feel welcome. A visit to the nearby Lake Leake Inn is also recommended!

Great place to escape in nature. Beautiful view of the lake, has a fireplace Host fabulous and always contactable if you need anything. Would highly recommend if you need a relaxing stay.

Cosy and quiet cabin by a beautiful lake
Beautiful location and quiet. The host is very helpful and responsive to communication. The combustion heater made the cabin warm and cosy. The kitchen has a full size fridge, oven and adequate cooking utensils.

Lovely quiet area, if you would like to get away for a relax this is it. Cabin has everything you could need. Just bring a good book and a good bottle of red, light the fire and relax. The hotel at Lake Leak is just a short drive if you want to eat out or have some company both company and food are good. A few comfortable high armchairs would be great.

This was the perfect place to experience peaceful solitude. The sounds of birds in the morning were so pleasing. It was a brilliant symphony. And enjoyed the local goose, Bob visiting each morning and the manager, Daryl, was a great host.

Clean, large, spacious, bright, fully-equipped cabins right at the lake. Beautiful. Peaceful. Lovely manager on site. Very friendly. We had a great stay. Very relaxing. Did the local hikes to the waterfalls and rock pools.

Daryl is a friendly host and he allowed us to check in 2h earlier, which was nice because we could then unload our luggage and travel out to Freycinet for the rest of the day. The apartment has a good view of the lake. There were only 2 of us, but the apartment is able to accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. The room and toilet are very clean too, with a nice heater in the toilet. The only room for improvement is the kitchenware, which could be more complete. There are only 2 pots and no pans, so we only cooked a simple meal for 1 night and ate out the other night. Comfortable stay overall!

Homely cabin by a beautiful lake
Comfortable, clean, and big cabin with a great lake view and a fireplace. A great quiet place to relax and cook a nice dinner by the lake. It is about a 20 minute drive from the nearest town and has no WiFi, but it's a nice place to stay if you want to get away from it all.

The cabins were clean, tidy and welcoming. There were basic amenities and the view of the lake was spectacular! The beds were unfortunately a little uncomfortable. The staff were welcoming and informative.

My Stay At Lake Yalleena Cabins
The cabin was generally good value for the price. The lake and the surrounding bushland is beautiful. It's also extremely quiet, which makes for a relaxing stay. There were a couple of issues, the fridge wasn't working, but as my stay was short I wasn't inconvenienced by this. The sliding wire door to the outside verandah need cleaning. Generally for the price and for the beautiful location it's good value for the price.
