Very charming historic Inn. It’s bigger than I expected! Beautiful historic decor. Loved the passes to the YMCA and the staff were wonderful. Plenty of space in the rooms too. I also had to check out early and the manager on site was wonderful to work with. The only issue I had is with noise at night which isn’t the hotels fault - I came during a busy night with a local conference and unfortunately, had a person above me that was up a lot during the night. Due to it being an older building, the floors are not as sound proof as newer buildings and I’m a light sleeper. But, the hotel was apologetic and tried to offer me other benefits even though there’s not much they can do about it. Well managed and kind staff. Nice charming place for those who enjoy history and historical places.

The Inn use electrical sockets near the nightstand. Why don’t they just use lamps when the sockets in them. The location is good.

Art and I are visiting and staying at old and historical hotels in the New England states. The Inn at Saratoga has a lovely and pleasant common room with beautiful period furnishings.

The location of this property is great, a short walk to the heart of Saratoga. The room was clean but needs updating. The staff was friendly and helpful. Please be advised the restaurant and bar are both closed on Sunday and Monday.

Thank you for the review! We are continuously in the process of updating rooms and hope to have all the rooms updated by sometime next year. We are working on getting an additional bar tender so we could have the restaurant and bar open on sunday and monday!

It is an old hotel, very unique, clean and friendly. Walking distance to everything, building has lots of charm and bar was very comfortable. I would definitely go back.

Great hotel and location
Hotel is lovely, great location, easy walk-through downtown Saratoga Springs. Staff very friendly. Nice bar and buffet breakfast. Live music the night we were there in the bar.

A pleasant stay in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs. A couple of days after revisiting 'The Shining' this could have been a good part of film set. The hotel maintains the decor of its original construction, in a warm and feature rich lobby and lounge. The rest of the hotel could use a fair amount of updating and maintenance (e.g., window coverings, hallway rugs stretched out to minimize trips).

This hotel is surprisingly well maintained (don't let the exterior of the building fool you). Parking and check-in was a breeze. The hotel is on Broadway so Congress Park and downtown shopping district was all walking distance. This is an underrated hotel and a real hidden gem in Saratoga.

A bit tired
A lovely old hotel but the rooms are rough around the edges. One can expect some quirks in such an old building and that’s not without its own charm but someone needs to take a look at items in the rooms - broken window shades, hooks missing from the bathroom door, torn shower curtain etc. not a deal breaker as the hotel overall is unique but a bit more attention to detail would enhance the experience

The room was fantastic and just as described. We were in Room 231 facing onto a road, but it was very quiet. We were surprised how large the room was. The 4-poster kingsize bed was amazing, although it's pretty high - you might have to jump in! The only complaint we have is the draperies. They don't cover the window properly and barely block the light at all. This room really needs blackout curtains. It was kind of hard to ignore the light.

Impressive renovation/restoration of a truly historic inn. Lovely antique furniture everywhere. As we were there autumn mid-week - no parking problem. Staff was friendly, atmosphere pleasant, our room had a (very high!) 4-poster bed and a modern bathroom. We dined in house - food was very good, service also good.
