Good TImes

Posted 29-Nov-2016
Pros: Hotel is very pretty. Seems likes a lot to do if you have kids.
Cons: All restaurants open everyday, not just Johnny Rockets
Location: Great location.
My Fiance and I were in town looking at venues for our wedding. We needed to DE-STRESS a little bit so decided to stay here at The Lodge to enjoy the free indoor water park (free comes with your stay). And it was FUN! Not just for kids and not even a lot of kids running around. We got o de-stress and have some fun!

Great experience some cons

Posted 14-Nov-2016
It was a great trip for 2adults 3kids. Kids loved it. Our last night there, one of my children fell outside and started bleeding. so I took her to front desk for just a bandaid and they stated they were unable to give me one. At this point she is crying and screaming for a bandaid. I asked front desk for a napkin and they declined to giving me one. We walked to first aid and got the help we needed and a stack of bandaids. In our bathroom along the edge of ceiling, it was outlined in mold

Not worth the money

Posted 7-Nov-2016
The indoor park was dark and the temp was too cold. We weren't able to enjoy. Very limited things to do for the money we paid.

Nice waterpark

Great waterpark and plenty for kids to do. The food was so so and I would avoid Johnny rockets.

Glad we did it once

Posted 9-Oct-2016
Pros: Great list of kids activities walking distance to amusement park. Room was perfectly divided for adults to watch TV while kids sleep
Cons: Check in was not very friendly and the amount of chlorine in the water park caused us not to be able to stay for more than an hr at a time
Location: Food was great at the hotel restaurant. Walking distance to amusement park made things very convenient

Dated and dirty

Posted 1-Sep-2016
Pros: Not much...dated and barely clean
Cons: Cleanliness in room
Location: Six Flags across the street
My initial entry into the room was met with potato chip crumbs on the frig and the floor and a partially made pull out couch...not enough pillows and towels for 6 people...and one tiny bottle of shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. The bottom half of the shower curtain was covered in pink and black mold and there were several hairs on the shower wall...THIS is after the check-in "hostess" was less than welcoming...she ran thru the rules and regulations like a robot...the indoor water park was nice..also nice that you can use the park across the street after check out.
