It is a nice location with an Adirondack feel - very appropriate for Lake George. The breakfast area is spacious and the breakfast service was excellent. The hotel was under construction, so no pool or hot tub availability, which was disappointing, as the location was selected based on both of these features.

This is a very well-kept hotel. When we stayed there, it was currently being renovated so construction was going on during our stay but ended at 6 PM. I guess we were on the renovated floor (4th) because bedding, bathroom, carpets… everything was pristine and new. Hampton Inns are always staffed by nice polite people and this one did not disappoint. My only complaint is that we had to pay $75 for the pet fee. Before Covid, this was only $40 and 75 bucks for one dog for one night is quite a lot!

Room was dim and dated. A broken light made things all the dimmer - unfortunately the front desk staff said they weren't willing to sort it out. Overall I'd say this hotel makes sense at a bargain price point, but at the price we paid I don't think it was a great value.

Booked weekend getaway with kids with a pool and hot tub, paid in advance. Showed up, checked in, then staff mentioned after the fact there was no pool, bar or hot tub as under construction. When booked was not notified of construction, not even in confirmation email. Hotel Refused to pay or negotiate refund. Had to find another hotel last minute to accommodate us and the plans.

The property is undergoing a renovation - This was not disclosed anywhere on the Expedia site, or I would not have booked this location! The staff was friendly, but there was construction noise right above us, the elevators were littered with construction dust and material, the lobby bar was closed (not under construction, just closed). We had a studio room because we needed three beds - the sheets on the sofa bed were stained (actually crusty-stained), and the flat sheet was still folded but not on the bed (folded into the mattress when the sofa bed was closed). Certainly not happy that we paid over $200 for a room at a hotel that was under construction and dirty.

there was a lot of construction going on, which I was not aware of when I made the reservation. The manager was wonderful and really tried to help us, and moved us to a the quietest part of the hotel.

I liked the privacy of the property. The setting was lovely. Nothing to dislike. Loved the woodsy atmosphere. It was my first time and will definitely go back.

Nice spot
Nice spot for a few days! The pool/hot tub area was great, as was the cleanliness of the room. Staff was friendly as well! Proximity to downtown Lake George was convenient!

Our stay was very comfortable. Only complaints I would have was the hot tub pump must’ve been broken. The one thing I would consider changing is putting door stoppers on all the doors so they’re not all slamming shut all morning. Other than that it was perfect for our weekend stay in the area

We left before staying there because the check in was so nasty. On the hotels website it said the hotel was pet friendly and that dogs could stay for an additional charge of $25. However when we arrived with our service dog they insisted on a charge of $75 which we were unwilling to pay. Had to go to another hotel.
