Nice view, but bathroom had mold
The view from our room was fantastic. The room was comfortable although I felt it was a bit small, especially considering the price. My biggest reason for decreasing the ratings was because there was a significant amount of black mold in the bathroom. For such a nice hotel, mold should not be acceptable.

My room was on the lake side and i can say without a doubt it was the best view of any hotel i have stayed at in the world! The staff here are definitely first class all the way. The breakfast buffet is above and beyond top notch. And my room was amazing! This is definitely one of the top hotels ive ever stayed at anywhere. I will definitely stay here my next trip to Montreux. I wish i had been able to stay longer.

Lovely spacious room looking at the lake. Very convenient that the train station is just across the street. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast and afternoon drinks looking over the lake was just stunning. Highly recommend.

The architecture and building were absolutely beautiful. Restaurant and food 10/10. The staff was also very nice. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because they advertise air conditioning and our room was 78 degrees. The best they could do was give us a fan. Also it would be nice if they offered a complimentary breakfast as opposed to charging 29 francs.

Terrible service. Front desk told us that they had given our room away to someone 'special' - ie we were not. Lots of stuffing around re using our Marriott voucher. Would not check us in on arrival from long haul flights when they did for others. Very small room, uncomfortable bed, poor bathroom. Not good value for money.

The staff at the front desk were hopeless, slow. Every minor request was a problem. Like making the key card work for both days. They told us that they could not give us the room we expected as they had offered it to other ‘special guests’. Room not available to us on check in, though was to people next to us. They got all confused using a Marriott voucher on check out though we had shown this on check in. Room small and basic for the price. Elevators unreliable. A disappointment,

I would rate the hotel as 5 stars, but there were some downsides. We booked for 3 people, but the room was set up for 2 with a rollaway bed. The lake view room was small, and the bathroom size was inadequate for 3 people. However, the service was great, and the lake view itself was stunning.

Fabulous place in the center of everything! Best part of the property is their massive terrace overlooking lake Geneva. Across from train station (without dealing with train noise) and 1 min. Walk to buses. Highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms are relatively small for it’s price, and it’s ridiculous how you have to pay to drink bottled water. Water should be free for expensive hotels. The bathroom is unsafe and small, the bathtub is too high and the step to the ground is steep and unsafe, there is no shower door which floods the bathroom with water after one shower. Not worth the money

Great hotel in a serene location
Very clean and comfortable hotel with wonderful views over the lake. Modern room and bathroom. Super friendly staff. A spacious and safe public parking garage (belonging to the train station) is available almost directly across the street (about 30 Euros for 24 hours of parking). Very walkable neighborhood with countless eateries. The room came with a free ticket for public transportation, which comes in handy when you go down to the lake and stroll too far while marveling at the art and views... :)

Beautiful historic hotel
hotel is in a great location — directly across from train station. All of my requests were addressed immediately. Spend the extra money to have a lake view with a balcony. I wish there was a small area where patrons could enjoy the view without having to enjoy a drink or food.

Beautiful Place
Perfect location across the street from the train station. Rooms facing the lake have beautiful small balconies and gorgeous sunset views. The restaurant breakfast and lunch is terrific, on a lakefront terrace. Rooms are comfortably appointed. The beds are divine.
