Excellent boutique hotel with great location on the lake. Service by staff was excellent and they were helpful with restaurant recommendations and bus timetables. The triple room was comfy and spacious. There was a good choice for breakfast and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the hotel again.

Love Flaminia Hotel
We love coming to Sirmione and the Flaminia hotel it is magic. Thank you for making us so welcome and comfortable. Wonderful stay. Our 4 th time. I hope there will be a 5th one day.

Fantastic hotel, providing visitors with a superb Sirmioni experience. Service was excellent and the junior suite with lake view an absolute delight. Breakfast had a variety of choices, although I personally would have liked to have seen a few more hot options.

Great Hotel, Location and Everything
This hotel is in a wonderful location in the old town. It has one of the best breakfasts I have ever had with a large selection. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Expensive. Very. A ridiculous bathtub in bedroom, see thru glass shower, sinks directly above bed. Design nightmare! Beautiful view. Crowded like Hamptons.

Just returned from our stay at Hotel Flaminia, we will really miss sitting on our sofa in the afternoon/evenings on the sun terrace admiring the beautiful lake. Hotel is in a fabulous location with plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep and the staff have been amazing so helpful. We would recommend this hotel and hope to revisit it sometime.

It was wonderful staying inside the Castle, as you are part of your own eco-system. This was my second visit to Sirmione and it was as beautiful as before. The grotto is a must to visit, and the history of this area is facinating. Lots of great food places with great views of the lake. Romantic and a great place to languish. Hoel Flaminia is right on the lake and it was wonderful to eat breakfast overlooking this view. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Room was comfortable and cosy.

Hotel Flaminia is ideally located in Sirmione; a short walk or electric cart ride from the car park required since the hotel is located in the restricted old town area. You’ll be surrounded by quaint shopping, countless eateries and gelaterias as well as access to the panoramic walkways. Make sure to grab an aperol Spritz and find a spot on the lake-side deck in time for sunset! The staff were all friendly and English proficient. They initiated set up of the parking access and made check in and out very easy The only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is early morning noise (5am) from the kitchen below us kept us from sleeping. Other small inconveniences we accepted as par for the course in an older facility. In short it was lovely and we would definitely book here again!

Best Air Conditioning in Italy
We slept very comfortably here and were able to really crank the AC. Room was lovely and right in the center of town. Parking instructions were quite clear and they provided a shuttle from the parking lot to the hotel. Great experience.

Can’t recommend highly enough
Amazing position right by the water, one of those places that you see and say, next time we are staying there. Smack bang next to the town and restaurants but still retains peacefulness. The sun deck is a gorgeous place to spend a few hours, overlooking the lake with a view over to Desenzano. Staff were friendly and lovely

Slice of paradise
Flaminia is ideally located and the terrazzo is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink while staring at the remarkable scenery. Service was excellent and staff were helpful with suggestions and navigating the city. I would gladly stay here again.

A slice of paradise found!
What a surprise! Sirmione was a bit of paradise. Off-season and being a holiday weekend, our Friday night roadside stop was a great surprise. Since I booked last minute and was basically concerned about being close to water and accommodating our two dogs, I missed the details that Hotel Flaminia was in a pedestrian zone. Everyone was very helpful. From the signore at the entry to the village to the people at the parking spot to the shuttle driver, the adventure started the moment we arrived. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The village is old and full of charm and has restaurants at every step of the way. There are many remote places to explore and I’m guessing one could cover the peninsula over a few day‘s stay. The breakfast was good and the view, fantastic! Two thumbs up for our 18 hour stop on our way to Finale Ligure. We will be back.

Beautiful view. No compensation for broken A/C
Everything was great except for the broken air conditioning unit. Because of that we couldn’t sleep well on the first night. When I reported the problem on the following day, the hotel confirmed the entire air conditioning unit of the hotel was broken after engineers investigated the problem. The hotel refused to compensate for the inconvenience. Other than that, we enjoyed the full breakfast and the lake view room with balcony. We paid €12 per day for parking, which was located outside the castle walls. The parking company transports people to/from the parking lot for check-in/out.

Little Gem
What a delightful utter gem right in the heart of Sirmione. Our room was fairly basic but was comfortable enough and had a lovely side view of the lake. The service was excellent- the staff were so friendly. We really enjoyed the sun beds on the terrace with direct access into the lake for a refreshing swim. It was also wonderful place to enjoy the sunset with a nice drink in hand. Had no worries with regards to Covid as we felt all that could be done was being done. Will definitely return.

Superior room was large compared to others in Italy and nicely decorated. Clean a d comfortable bed. Difficult to reach however. Parking is 1/2 mile away and have to be shuttled in to town on golf cart. I booked the room with dinner but wish I didn’t. Food was just ok. Service was slow. Dinner did not include drink, not even water! They would no allow any change to our accommodations or fix menu dinner whatsoever. I would not return here.

Website and ebookers site is very misleading, you chose a superior room based upon the pictures and explanation. Luxurious airy rooms overlooking the lake. Sadly that’s all a lie, the superior rooms are dark small rooms in an adjacent property, small depressing, slightly worn and Bath plugs that don’t fit. Would not recommend booking this hotel if your looking for the view, save your money and book elsewhere. The rooms shown as superior is actually the junior suite and one superior room that have that caters for 4 people ( sofa bed). Complained to the hotel, but as they just don’t have rooms like advertised there was nothing that they could do. Didn’t even offer a discount to sorry, even though the reception man apologised. Stick to Hotel Sirmione instead.

Prime location with beautiful views in every direction, a castle to climb, water to swim in (Lake felt more like ocean with it’s size!)and tons of restaurants, shops, gelato, etc. Breakfast included had lots of options and the porch was perfect for reading and listening to the peaceful sound of the water.

Location is perfect. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is delicious. Sirmione is a great place to base yourself for a holiday. It’s a lovely, quaint little place and Hotel Flaminia is very convenient for Ferries to other little towns around the lake.
