This property is located at Lake San Cristobal which is directly on the Alpine Loop. This condo is nestled in the heart of the San Juan Mountains and 100 yards from public access to Lake San Cristobal, Colorado's second largest natural body of water. Lake San Cristobal and the surrounding streams make this location a fisherman's paradise. You can ride out onto the Alpine Loop directly from the condo without having to trailer your OHV or ATV to a staging area. There is plenty of room to park your trailer nearby as well. You can explore the Alpine Loop and many other ATV/Jeep, biking and hiking tails the area has to offer. Along these trails you will discover many ghost towns and the rich mining history of the area. The condo is 4 miles from the remote historic mountain town of Lake City where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, parks, mini golf, a movie theater and museum. Hiking, fishing, fly fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, skate boarding, multiple public parks, mine tours, mini golf, etc. If it is outdoors, Lake City likely has it. In the winter there is skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, sledding, snowmobiling, and ice climbing. This is the perfect location for 4-wheel enthusiasts, hikers, bikers, fishermen, hunters, horseback riders, climbers, wild life and birdwatchers, nature lovers and history buffs. This 2 bed 2 bath condominium features a queen bed in each room as well as a twin bunk bed in 1 of the rooms. The open concept living room has a full sized couch, love seat, dining table and seating nook adjoins the kitchen. Do you cook? We do and our kitchen has most of the gadgets, tools and utensils you would need to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee maker and filters, toaster oven, toaster, crock pot, electric skillet, George Foreman grill and griddle. The kitchen bar seats 5 so you can spread out and eat after a long day fishing or on the trail. Enjoy all the comforts of home in a beautiful mountain setting. From the covered deck you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the San Juan Mountains that surround Lake San Cristobal. Slumgullion Creek runs right in front of your condo allowing you to enjoy the soothing sound of running water right from your porch. Relax at the fire pit next to the river while making memories with loved ones. The owners really have provided the full complement of kitchen needs for this tidy unit, as well as plenty of games or puzzles if you end up spending time indoors. Try Lake City-opoly! Furniture is comfortable. It was very clean throughout. Water pressure was great. Sitting on the deck, relaxing is also a requirement here as the views are as described above. It's perfectly located on the Alpine Loop and near other scenic trails, and the best part is—you can ride your SXS right from the property, no trailer needed, and head straight into town. Kristin, the owner, was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions we had. The place is fully stocked, right down to a crockpot. The porch is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the peaceful creek, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating, especially around the fire pit, so no need to bring your own lawn chairs. Inside, the place is cozy and comfortable. Between the convenience, comfort, cleanliness and stunning views, you won’t be disappointed! ##### Caron C. It was beautifully decorated, clean, it had everything we needed and we were by the Alpine Loop. We could ride our buggy into town for everything. Hwy 149, the hwy going thru town is open for HOVs from the Bakery at the north end of town to CR 30 going to the condo. We would love to stay here again. ##### Sandra E. Séjour de 7 nuits en juin 2021
