Lake City is a popular destination for hunters, fishing enthusiasts, and OHV recreationalists. Lake San Cristobal has become a showcase for people-powered recreation like paddle boarding and kayaking. Winter activities include our world class Ice Climbs! climbing park, just a short walk to the mouth of Henson Creek Canyon. Our little homestead is a block off the Alpine Loop, making it a great place to start your very own search for the San Juan Sasquatch. The flower box below the window had dead flowers and tall weeds on one side of the house next to the lumber yard that was next door. A backhoe was parked directly in front of the house when we arrived. The front door screen was busted and had a rope through the hole as a handle to get in and out. We could only enter the house through the rear door. Check in was fine and the house had been cleaned and had a fairly new coat of paint on the walls. Definitely not worth the cost!
