A recently renovated home in Northeast PA's 4 season recreation community, The Hideout! This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home offers fun and relaxation for every one! We are the next to last property on a cul-de-sac, a short walk to Brooks lake, and just a short drive to the quaint towns of Honesdale and Hawley. As a gated community, The Hideout offers many amenities! Guests will have access to 5 lakes, 2 beaches, marina with kayak/canoe rentals, private 9-hole golf course, 2 heated outdoor pools and kiddie pool, outdoor basketball/tennis/volleyball courts, playgrounds, ski slopes, snow tubing, ice skating, hiking trails, recreation center (indoor courts, game room, gym), art museum, woodworking building & ceramics, mini golf, Club House restaurant and Tiki Bar. Master bedroom (2nd flr): Queen bed with TV/Fire Stick | Bedroom #2 (2nd flr): twin/full bunk with twin trundle | Bedroom #3 (1st flr): twin daybed with pop-up trundle. The kitchen is stocked with cooking necessities, and our living room is equipped with a 55" smart TV for cozy movie nights. Ceiling fans in every room, and a washer/dryer in the basement add to your comfort. A/C is available. Pack 'n' Play, Baby Tub, and Booster Seat are provided. Please bring your own crib sheets The Main Beach/Pool, Clubhouse and Tiki Bar are a short 5 min drive. from the house. A few beach chairs and beach toys are also available for your use. Honesdale and Hawley are a short 20-minute drive away featuring great local shops, antique stores, wineries, restaurants, and small museums. Ski Resorts and Water Parks are within 1 hour driving distance! 35 minutes to Montage Mountain Ski Resort, 55 minutes to Elk Mountain, 50 minutes to Big Bear ski resort, 50 minutes to Camelback Mountain Ski and Camelbeach waterpark, Kalahari waterpark and The Crossings Shopping Outlet. Other favorites include Claws and Paws Wild Animal Park, Bushkill Falls, Lacawac Sanctuary, Hamlin Speedway, SteamTown National Train Site , and Ritters Cider Mill. There is truly something for everyone!!! Badges are required to enjoy the amenities-- the house comes with 5 amenity badges which MUST be left at the house upon checkout! Any lost pass will be subject to a $30 replacement fee. You will receive 3 additional temporary amenity badges upon check-in at the front gate (these do NOT need to be returned at check out). Our badges include pool access. \*\*\*\*Please Note: This home is located in a secured, gated, private community. You will need to fill out a rental application that will be sent to you by our property manager. This will need to be completed and signed, (include the names, ages, addresses and relationship to you for all of your guests) for entrance into the community. This will need to be completed within 72 hours prior to your arrival or the community will assess a $100 late fee that you will be responsible for. You may not exceed the max amount of people allowed and there are no more than 4 cars allowed in the driveway. No other guests can visit the lot while you are there. On arrival, there is a quick check-in process at the main gate where you will receive a parking tag, and a welcome packet containing the 3 temporary amenity badges (these do not have to be returned at check out). Additional badges and passes can be purchased directly from the POA. All non-essential items provided in the home are subject to change without notice.\*\*\*\* \*\* While The Rainbow's End is home to our pets, guest pets are not currently allowed. This house had everything a family needs for a weekend (or longer) getaway, from cookware and washer/dryer to movies and games, Cindy and Rob made a stay in their home as comfortable as possible. The first night we had dinner at Draft’s Bar and Grill then headed back to the house to make popcorn and watch a movie with candles lit in the fireplace snuggled up in the warm blankets provided. The kids LOVED the bunk beds and having their own room! The ski hills were busy with skiers, snowboarders and tubers. We grabbed some hot cocoa, hung out around the fires, and had lunch at the Ski Chalet. We checked out a brewery in Hawley and sat for a delicious dinner at Joe & Lorenzo’s Restaurant (great food at great prices!). We can’t wait to come back in the summer! ##### Kristen C. This perfect piece of heaven situated in the mountains is so beautiful, peaceful and serene! The Rainbows End house is so cozy, warm, and inviting! Having stayed there during an 8” snow storm only added to the ambiance. All the furnishing and appliances are updated. The owners Rob and Cindy, thought of everything you could possibly need as if you were in the comforts of your own home; down to the toiletries, extra pillows, blankets, even mustard and sugar which we forgot :) . Perfect for couples or families as there were plenty of beds and accommodations for all. The Hideout even has its own ski trails and tubing hill. Great restaurants and plenty to do just a drive away. Even a 5 star Hotel could not think of all the little things. If you are looking for a little piece of heaven look. No more! We cannot wait to experience this piece of heaven in the summertime! ##### carla s.
