Update: Fall of 2022 we installed a Grohe hand-held shower head so that parents could more easily wash their children. In the summer of 2021 we added new artwork. In 2019 we installed a new 55” Samsung LED LCD Smart TV! It’s beautiful and has “Dynamic Crystal color”! We also installed a new modern Rohl kitchen faucet, a Rohl bathroom faucet, added new shower hooks, and bought new pans. In 2015 we did some remodeling and have made many changes to our condo including: all walls painted, four new louvered doors, new wood flooring, new chair rail, new sleeper couch with an extra large mattress, and two new bar stools. The furniture has been rearranged so the bed and couch both look directly at the TV. This provides better function and a more open feeling. The ground floor location of this studio allows for convenient walk-in/walk-out access without the need to wait for an elevator. Just open the lanai sliding doors and you are steps away from the beach, the pool, and the Ka’anapali walkway. The courtyard offers a tranquil setting with tropical plants, a Koi pond with a waterfall, and the swimming pool. In the evening, the Koi pond is lit by romantic torches and lights. From the condo’s lanai, there are magnificent ocean views and the grassy area by the lanai gives the feeling of a private garden. It’s a delightful place to have a morning coffee or evening drink. The condo has been remodeled entirely and professionally decorated. It has a 55'' flat- screen smart TV, DVR for recording programs, free secure 5g Wifi, a fully equipped remodeled kitchen, a large king bed, a queen sleeper couch, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a free washer and dryer just outside the door. The Whaler, a premiere condominium resort, is in the heart of the famous Ka’anapali Beach. Ka’anapali Beach is recognized worldwide as one of the top ten beaches. The spectacular natural setting, along with the many amenities of this resort hotel, make it an outstanding paradise vacation for people of all ages. The Whaler has recently completed more than $30 million worth of property renovations and enhancements over the last 3 plus years. The Whaler on Ka’anapali Beach featured amenities include state of the art fitness center, business center, tennis courts, beach side pool with hydra-spa, an on-site concierge, a beach kiosk with towel service, beach-side gas grills, air conditioning, and underground parking. The superior location of the property keeps owners and guests in the heart of some of the best shopping, dining, and ocean activities on Maui. Within walking distance are two world class golf courses, Whaler's Village Shopping Center with 65 shops and restaurants, and a whaling museum. A paved promenade allows easy strolling along Ka’anapali beach. A free Trolley also allows you to ride between all the properties on Ka’anapali Beach. Ka’anapali Beach has much to offer. In addition to long walks on the beach, numerous water activities are available directly along Ka’anapali Beach including catamaran trips (which pick up directly in front of The Whaler), swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, whale watching, boating, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, Jet-skiing, dinner cruises, and luaus. It’s also a short stroll along the beach to Black Rock where you can watch the cliff divers in the evening or take the whole family for a safe swim with the turtles and tropical fish during the day. Super easy check in, walk out of unit and 1 minute walk to beach, a couple minutes to walk to Whaler’s Village, and around 5 minutes to walk to Black Rock. Plenty of restaurants within walking, but we explored all over the island. Condo has three beach chairs in closet, but lightweight beach chairs are available to grab and take right by beach. Washer and dryer very close to room and free - laundry pods in closet. Dish washer pods under sink, coffee maker and filters. We stay in a lot of condos and this was so well stocked. The beach in front of property was sandy and beautiful, we saw a turtle, dolphins, possibly manta rays and a monk seal! Owners are super responsive. We enjoyed our 3 week stay very much - we felt very much at home and welcomed by the owners. Everything we needed was provided for us and then some. We would definitely stay in this unit again! Would 100% stay again! The small communication we had w/owners was courteous &timely. Unit was just a described &lovely. Caretaker takes pride in her work. Whaler staff, Mimi & Dexter are absolutely lovely &gave us a very Aloha welcoming. If this unit is available again during our travels, would love to stay here again pls. The location couldn’t be better. So easy to literally walk next door for restaurants, shopping or a nice cocktail. The condo is just as listed, has everything you need and so clean. We stayed in a studio condominium at the Whaler for the very first time in September. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and very well kept, everything was easily accessible to us within walking distance! Lots of food choices both easy and elegant, tons of shopping nearby, snorkeling right off the beach with just a short walk, sunset on ka’anapali beach at night. There is nothing you can want for that this resort doesn’t have to offer. Beach chairs, swim towels, snorkeling gear, you name it! Our condominium was booked through a private party, and the owners were so accommodating and communicative. We had another great stay at Laura and Jim’s condo at the Whaler! Perfect location being ground level and being able to enjoy the grass and landscaping, get morning coffee quickly, not have to deal with elevators and get to the beach in a matter of seconds.
