(Hawaii Tax ID: TA-113-583-7184-01) TL;DR description: \- 25 feet from the ocean with an almost 180 degree view. \- Air Conditioner plus a ceiling fan \- High End Sterns & Foster King Mattress \- Many amenities for a perfect vacation: cooler, beach towels, umbrella, chairs, games, books, DVDs, and a guitar, if you go in for such things. :-) \- and in the kitchen: microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, juicer, rice cooker, oven, full sized fridge, high end pans, etc. \- Super fast internet, if you \_have\_ to work \- Sofa bed \- Zoned for a hotel, so you can book with confidence it'll be available regardless of any of the pending short-term rental legislation (unlikely to pass, but there are some folks trying to ban STRs in apartment zones). Hi! I'm Jim Tierney and I stay here a couple months a year, so it's important the condo is kept in great shape. Both for myself and my guests. I'm constantly updating the condo. For example, I added a King bed last year, and added new art, a kitchen backsplash and replaced the old window with a new double pane window this year. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me! The only fee I charge is a $150 cleaning fee (which goes to the cleaner), there are no management, resort, or whatever fees that you'll have to pay me. Tax and the fee VRBO charges you for using the platform I have no control over. The beautiful pacific ocean is 25 ft away from your lanai! Listen to the waves and see the stunning views of Lanai and Molokai. During whale season, you can see whales all day long. The condo itself is designed as something I would expect from an upscale Maui resort. So it's very well appointed and very comfortable. Including a high end Sterns & Foster King mattress! A vacation condo should feel like home and, at the same time, somewhere special. That special place that you look forward to returning to. I've put a lot of work into the place and care a lot about the condo and your experience in it. You can see that reflected in the reviews! :-) Also, check out the beautiful, custom shower! Finally got around to remodeling the shower and it came out amazing. All slate, river rock, and quartzite. I'm stoked about it and you will be too. :-) While the ocean is 25 feet away, there is not a sandy beach in front of the property. However, there are some good beaches within easy walking distance. (see the photos) I keep my calendar updated. If it says condo is available, it is. I know it's frustrating when you see an available condo and it's just due to folks not updating their calendars. Key Amenities: Air Conditioner, high-end King mattress, free reserved parking, wired/wireless super fast internet (250mb down/20mb up), flat screen TV, remodeled kitchen, remodeled shower, and lots of small amenities like a hair dryer in the bathroom and juicer in the kitchen. Check out the Google Map below with some great recommendations for eating and activities. See the video for the view off of the lanai. I figure there's two things people want from a Maui vacation... 1) to see and hear the ocean from their lanai and 2) to get some sleep. :-) As for the ocean, the condo is 25 feet away from the ocean so you can sit on the lanai and watch the waves crash into the sea wall or the sun set over the wide pacific and disappear behind Molokai. When it comes to sleeping I'm pretty particular about the mattress I sleep on, so it was important to find a good mattress that rivaled what I expect from an upscale hotel. It's amazingly comfortable and I think you'll find it's wonderful to listen to the waves as you drift off to sleep. It's a wonderful, luxurious space that will give you everything you want from a Maui vacation. I look forward to having you experience it for yourself. If you're into cooking, the kitchen has been completely remodeled with granite countertops and custom wood cabinets. You have all the cookware necessary for a complete meal and then some. The dishes, glassware, and tableware are all beautiful and will make having dinner on the lanai at sunset feel like a 5 star restaurant. You are also a couple minutes away from a market that specializes in local and organic foods, if you're looking for fresh ingredients. There's also a brand new air conditioner, which is not common in vacation rentals. Of course, there's the usual stuff, 32' flatscreen TV with DVD and cable, high speed internet with WiFi, speakers to plug an iPod into, hair dryer, small library of DVDs, and even a desk to write postcards on or check email (not that you'd be doing that on your vacation). There's also stuff like beach chairs, a boogie board, snorkel equipment, and beach towels. The couch becomes a queen sized, Simmons sofa bed to accomodate kids or another adult. This IS a sofa bed. It's a nice one, but like all sofa beds it's not the paragon of comfort, especially for adults. There are two pools. However, this is a residential condo complex (meaning folks live here year round) so the pools aren't resort quality. There are no waterslides, bars, spa, lifeguards, or attendants handing you towels. They are nice, clean pools, but more modest than you'd find in a resort. Of course, the condo has pool/beach towels for your use and it's easy enough to mix up your own drinks in the blender. :-) There's also a couple day spas a short distance away. There's a grassy area directly in front with a gas BBQ, tables, and chaise lounges. You're one block from restaurants and shopping. It's an excellent central location to go north to Kapalua or south to Kaanapali. The condo is non-smoking and is on the second floor, up one flight of stairs. Cancellation policy: you can cancel 45 days or more and get a full refund. 30-45 days out, you just lose the deposit. So it's less strict than what VRBO shows, but I can't customize that. Also, if I can rebook the dates I will also give you a full refund, regardless of when you cancel. Older unit but has some nice upgrades including nice bed, kitchen and shower. Loved mornings and sunsets on the lanai including seeing whales. Sure, it’s not a resort, but wife enjoyed the pool and we got a million dollar view for a week at about what you’ll pay for a night or 2 at the Ritz just up the road! We saw sea turtles swimming from our balcony and a beautiful rainbow over Molokai. The location was perfect for a short 5 min drive to amazing snorkeling at Nāpili Bay and Kapalua Bay. This was a perfect spot for my husband and I to stay! The VRBO was beautiful, clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen was stocked with several appliances.We LOVED the fact that it was so close to the ocean. We got to see several sea turtles and whales out in front of the property every day we were there. There were also a couple of beaches near by that we didn't make it to, but they looked gorgeous! I would absolutely stay here again! I volunteered for the PGA Sentry tournament and needed a place close to Kapula. The Condo had everything you needed and more. You are literally 25 ft from the shore line and you have wonderful views of the surrounding islands . The King size bed was the most comfortable place I have ever slept. The owner was very timely in communicating with me. The shower was a unique touch, as well as the overall decorations/art. We love to adventure so we didn't need a huge fancy place; it was clean, with enough space for us two AND a comfortable bed! We jogged to badass coffee most mornings to drink coffee on the beach. We frequented Miso sushi, the farmers market and Maui brewing which were walking distance. Could not be more pleased with the condo and location; it's close to everything. All around one of the best vacation experiences I have ever had. The property is exactly like it is described and pictured - there was plenty of space for me and my husband. The property owner Jim gave us such detailed check in info and the onsite property manager was in contact if we needed anything at any time. The place has an amazing view, is quiet, safe, great parking, perfectly located to everything (short 10min drive to Whalers Village area, easy to highways). Jim gave us such helpful hints about where to go food shopping, restaurants, beach access nearby, snorkeling advice (which we took so thank you), whale watching, literally every suggestion you could need. We took advantage of the beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards that were available. Every morning we had coffee on the lanai and snacks/drinks before dinner. I will miss the view!!! We took day trips to Haleakala, the road to Hana, Iao valley hikes, and snorkeling at black rock!!! Thank you for an amazing stay . The way the property is designed, no other balconies can look into your balcony and you can’t see others! Only the ocean, rainbows, and Molokai! We were right on the beautiful ocean and saw many turtles while just enjoying the lanai. It is a perfect location to enjoy the sunset on the ocean. The location felt safe, secure, and comfortable. Within a short drive we found great places to snorkel with colorful fish and relaxed turtles. The locals were kind and helpful. We respectfully stayed away from Lahaina but all the places we went were grateful for the business. The owner, Jim, has the place comfortably stocked and he provides a lot of useful information on the area. We will stay here again. ##### David W. The beach areas are eroded away - so we drove to other beaches to snorkel. (Hint - go to the Sheraton in Valley your car… Take your stuff and go snorkeling at Black rock right there on the beach… Then when you’re done eat at the cliff diver bar… Get your ticket validated and your valet was free. If you don’t get it validated… It’s 50 bucks. Lunch ran us about 70 each time we did it… We thought that was a fair trade.). Parking was a little quirky… On some days someone would be parked there… Two hours later they’d be gone. We just parked in the guest spot and had our same parking pass. Overall… Very romantic. We really enjoyed the stay… The place is super clean and stocked full of Items… We kept even discovering things in. The mattress and the bed is very comfortable. After monkeeing around, found that the outlet behind the frig only half worked. Had to run an extension thru the bath. Light above the sink was burnt out, but replaced by Charles. Nice guy ! Nice computer, but not hooked up to anything. Looking to turn on the TV, but there were 3 remotes. Really ! Got directions on my phone that said " do this and that " if that didn't work, try this. Either is works or it doesn't .How about a universal remote ? Charles took care of this. Great view, bed and pillows. Tenant above was horrible. Felt like they were coming thru the ceiling every step, Assigned parking spot was fine, as long as you liked to have your car covered in bird turd every day. ##### joseph s.
