We call this Kapalua Golf Villa, Hale O Kauka'i. A Hawaiian phrase which translates to English to 'Home of Sunsets'. Hawaii Tax ID # TA-089-018-4704-02 NEW CENTRAL AC, (including new ductwork); includes High Efficiency system with additional state of art ION GENERATOR that purifies the air by removing allergens, mold, viruses & bacteria, (installed Feb/2020). ALL NEW in 2022: Floorcovering thru-out; Granite Countertops, Sinks and Faucets & Range. New Living room furniture including: Sleeper Sofa, Recliner, Occasional chair, Credenza, Lamps & Smart TV. New Twin Daybed in the converted sleeping quarters, (providing additional comfort & privacy for a guest or family member). Deep Seating Patio set, (couch and chairs with coffee table), from Costco to provide extra comfort beyond the dining set for 4\. This COMFORTABLE 1 bedroom villa with approximately 1000 sq ft of interior space, not including the large 400 sq ft lanai, (balcony); resides in building 16 on the 'T', (parking level), very convenient with no stairs from your dedicated parking spot approximately 40 feet from your ground level entrance door. Although there are no stairs, this villa is technically on the second floor as you exit onto the lanai,(balcony), facing the view as the entire complex is built on a west facing hillside. This corner villa, (no shared wall on one side), has an expansive living space with large slider doors & windows facing west towards the Pacific Ocean with magnificent Hawaiian sunsets overlooking the Kapalua Bay golf course. You can take walks along the coastline or spend time at the beach within a short walk from the condo. They keep the place well equipped and updated. The unit was well-appointed, and the location was spectacular. Enjoyed sitting out on the lanai with view of the golf course and ocean in distance. The Kapalua golf vistas had a couple of on-site restaurants, that require reservations. We were able to sit at bar without reservations at Sansei Seafood and Sushi bar as well as Taverna. In both cases, the food was underwhelming. Had a pizza at Taverna, and I've had much better frozen pizzas. The biggest disappointment was the lack of communication from the host. We did not get correspondence confirming our booking and payment. Had to beg multiple times for information on checkin at the unit, which came just 2-3 days before our arrival from US East Coast. Didn't hear anything from host during or after our stay. There were little things about the unit we would have liked to have corrected while we were there, but just wasn't worth even trying to contact the host. ##### Greg D. Truly a special home with all the amenities one could need for a relaxing vacation. Beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished. The large balcony was also nicely furnished with high end patio furniture where you had views of golf and the ocean. The kitchen was fully-stocked with everything one could need to make you feel at home. The resort itself was also very nice with BBQ and pools very close by. There were also walking trails nearby and a nice shopping area within walking distance. The golf was fantastic. David was very responsive. The unit is clean, modern, and has a great location. The balcony is huge and is a great place to eat all meals. It has a slight view of the ocean and is very relaxing after having a great day out on the beach, which is only a 700 meter walk. Having a washer/dryer is so convenient. The owners provide laundry soap and fabric softener. The only negative is the master bathroom tub/shower. For you seniors, it's rather slippery to get in and out of the tub, so use the second bathroom's shower for easy access.
