My husband and I went to Maui with another couple, so we rented this 2x2 condo and it was absolutely perfect! There's something about getting to watch the sunrise from your patio over the mountains and see the ocean at the same time is magnificent. The condo could not have been more perfect for our trip! We were pleasantly surprised at his spacious unit, its huge lanai and beautiful view. I loved that it only gets morning sun so the lanai is always a comfortable place to be. The only negative was the washing machine had been left closed while still wet so it had mold in it. Other than that we loved this space and will plan to rent it again on a future trip! ##### Keli G. We went with our toddler boy-girl twins and grand parents and everyone had an amazing time. The house has views of the ocean and sunset on one side and the mountains on the other. The pools were awesome and my toddlers had sooo much fun in the kiddie pool as well as the larger pool (with us holding them). Having Dukes on the premises was a huge plus and just few steps away from the beach. I was so happy with our stay that I actually looked up on redfin to see if i should buy a condo there in the property... lol. We definitely plan on returning here! ##### Sirish B. This is my second time here at this resort and I wanted to bring my kids to show them Maui for the first time. It has Duke's restaurant on property, ample pools, and you can jump right into the ocean in front of the resort. As for the condo itself, it was good overall. The only suggestions I'd have would be to have some basic condiments in the condo. We had to go buy our own salt and pepper; it would've been nice to have that in the kitchen. The kitchen knives are old and need to be replaced, and there are no measuring spoons, and there were only two containers for food leftovers. It would've been nice to have the kitchen more equipped for cooking needs. There are three televisions in the condo unit, but only one is a smart TV, so we never used the tv's in the bedrooms due to that issue. Again, it would be nice to have the televisions upgraded. All of these are minor issues, but things that other travelers might find useful. Overall our stay was great, and we will definitely stay at Honua Kai again. ##### Gemma G.
