When you can’t afford a mediocre Maui vacation! Family time is limited, make the most of your vacation time with an out of this world Ocean front experience. Why pay for a small hotel room when you can get THREE times the size for about the same price? Marriott’s Maui Ocean club is a full service resort with everything needed for a fabulous stress-free vacation. Amenities include mid-week clean up service, pool towel service, exercise facilities, and concierge. Spa services, valet parking are also available for a fee. There are three restaurants located on the property serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food and drinks are available at the pool and beach. Your vacation rental will be an oceanfront unit in either the Molokai or Lanai towers. Marriott just completed a multi million dollar renovation/refurbishment for this property. These units feature brand new appliances, furniture, upholstery, bedding and bathrooms. The floor plans are slightly different from unit to unit, but all of them have 2 bedrooms and 3 full baths with stunning “ you can drop a pebble into the ocean” direct ocean front views. Outfitted with a king bed in each bedroom in addition to a convertible sofa sleeper in the living room as well as one of the bedrooms, there is room to sleep up to 8 adults comfortably. Additional roll-out beds and cribs are also available. Lanais afford INCREDIBLE ocean views all around (great for viewing famous Maui sunsets). The kitchenette has a microwave, sink, dishwasher, coffee maker, an apartment size fridge (another small fridge in one of the bedrooms) dinnerware and silverware etc. It works very well for breakfast and lunch. There are grills/dining areas downstairs throughout the property, and guests use them to prepare dinners and dine al fresco on the beach. Everyone will love the 3.5 acre super pool, which offers slides, spas & a kids shipwreck area. The resort is centrally located, so it is easy to get to all the hot spots. It is within walking distance to Whalers Village, which has a variety of shops and restaurants. It is about two miles from the luxurious Kapalua resort area with its magnificent golf courses. \*Marriott two bedroom suites are floating units. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and stunning ocean views. The pools were a highlight of our trip – we especially loved the variety. Our kids had a blast, and our toddler was completely obsessed with the pirate ship pool, which was perfect for younger children.The restaurants on-site were also great, offering delicious food and convenient options for families. Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and helpful, which made our experience even more enjoyable.Our villa was spacious and very comfortable, with modern furnishings and a great layout for families. The only downsides were that one of the showers didn’t drain well and took a long time for the water to heat up – and even then, it was hard to keep it at a steady temperature. Also, housekeeping often came very late in the day, usually when we were already back in the room trying to relax, which made it a bit inconvenient.That said, these were minor issues in an otherwise wonderful stay. We had not used VRB0 before let alone for such a far away location as Maui! I can vouch for Maui Resort Rentals most assuredly for anyone reading this. We asked for a two bedroom villa with Oceanfront views at the Marriott Ocean Clib and that is exactly what we got. This property is awesome and so close to lots to do for all members of the family. We have two late teens and though there are lots of smaller kids that stay here there was always plenty of room to spread out and never felt crowded. Also very close to Whalers Village for good food and shopping - 10 minute walk. For our first time to Hawaii this vacation could just about not have gone ANY better. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was a wraparound that slept 8 (and we had 8 including kids ranging from 11 years old to 23 years old). We had plenty of room and the views from the rooms were fantastic. We've stayed on Kanapaali several times in the past at the Sheraton and as much as we liked the Sheraton, we liked the Marriott Ocean Club even better. Room was bigger and although we our trip was over spring break, it never felt crowded. Room was exactly what Maui Resort Realty described.
