Exceeded expectations! 3rd time staying at Honua Kai. Twice used VRBO and once the hotel directly. VRBO has better rooms with superior location and views. I've seen all properties from Kapalua to Lahaina and Honua Kai is best for amenities and condition of condos. Way better grounds, kitchens, bathrooms and appliances. Most other ones are cramped or dated! This unit was fully loaded so generously equipped with more than you could ever ask or imagine!! A top chef would be more than satisfied with all the kitchen supplies! The view, the ambiance the beach the pool all super great! You won't find anything better!! Luxury at a reasonable price! Sep 30, 2017 #### Beautiful home in paradise!!! Wow! Where do I begin!? My husband and I spent 5 nights in Bruno's studio at the Honua Kai. We were in heaven! The only thing we regret was not booking for more nights. The studio was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook (pots/pans/spices/tupperware/ziplock bags etc...) as well as head to the beach (chairs, cooler, beach towels). My favorite part was sitting out on the lanai and enjoying the full ocean view while drinking my morning coffee. The self-parking under the building was easy and convenient to come/go. We were glad that we purchased our own snorkels before the trip because you can snorkel immediately off the resort. We can't wait to come back! ##### Katie B. The condo is very nice and clean, modern, well equipped. We saw several whale breaches while sitting out on the lanai! We appreciated the beach chairs, large beach bag, cooler, and the cart to haul everything back and forth to the car! The location is perfect. There’s many restaurants and shopping close by. The resort is very nice. This is newer and everything is well maintained. The property, pools, everything was fabulous. The resort employees were always smiling and friendly which is always a plus. What a beautiful place to come get away from our record low 0° temperatures! We are so sad to leave today!! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Bruno was great to work with, answering all of our questions and having plenty of information on where to go, what to see and places to eat. Thank you Bruno for sharing your condo with us. We can’t wait to come back! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! ##### Lisa A. Dec 4, 2017 #### Exceptional attention to detail with a great view This was a smooth, comfortable experience from start to finish. Shortly after booking, we received a personal call from Bruno and he answered all of our questions about the property. The Maui Trip Planner that was sent prior to our arrival was full of valuable information. We saved an electronic copy, plus a printed copy was provided in the unit for us. We also appreciated having a copy of Maui Revealed in the condo. Things we loved: underground secure parking. Beach chairs, beach bag, and cooler. Stainless steel water bottles stayed cold in the car when filled with ice water. A wheeled cart for groceries. The coffee shop in the lobby. Breakfast on the lanai with an incredible view. High quality linens and beach towels. Well-stocked kitchen with new appliances. We happened to be there during an unusually rainy week for Maui but we were usually able to drive around the island and find decent weather. That's where the Maui trip planner really came in handy. Mahalo, Bruno and Ellen, for making this a fabulous vacation with a place to come "home" to at the end of each day. We would definitely repeat this stay. ##### Jodi T.
