This condo's ground-floor location allows us to sit a few feet from the water's edge in the morning shade and afternoon sun, watching for whales and often seeing turtles right below us. The unit is comfortably furnished and well equipped for us (two, elderly adventurers) - assistance with water temp was prompt and lighting over the stovetop would help. The non-smoking policy and congenial neighbors are a plus, as are nearby shops, including Snorkel Bobs, coffee cafe, Farmers Market store and tasty takeout. A quaint church and two beach parks are a short walk away; Napili Kai and the Kapalua Coastal Trail are a short drive north. We had spectacular mornings sitting on the patio listening to the gentle waves and stunning evenings watching the sunsets! Sofa pullout bed was less than ideal from a comfort standpoint. A great condo and a very sociable community. Swimming with the sea turtles that visited us every day was great. We had a fantastic time at Makani Sands. The condo was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The condo was well stocked with everything you would possibly need. The out doors was magnificent. The views of the water and neighbouring islands breath taking. The tiki torches at nigh just added to the ambiance. Can't wait until, we are able to come back.
