The Lahaina fire affected some of the community and our historic clubhouse did burn. All utilities, including water, have been tested by the EPA and the utilities and the surrounding environment is safe. Home portrays quality craftsmanship and ties the home together from top to bottom in both styling and materials with bamboo features throughout. The view and location will leave you speechless!!! The home has a fresh, contemporary feel with exceptionally clean, stylish lines. The tones are light and airy to compliment the ocean-side locale. Sun filled rooms, tastefully furnished and full of tropical charm, completely equipped and accessorized. The view floods every room from all windows of the ocean, the islands of Lanai and Molokai and the rugged West Maui mountains. A gourmet kitchen has quality appliances, cherry wood custom cabinets, bamboo glass, granite counter tops, breakfast bar, & bay window. Bathrooms have have been decorated with travertine tile. There are bamboo window coverings in living room, master and guest bedroom and solar shades in loft bedroom. Snuggle up in this attractive and comfortable large living area where the ocean is a constant presence with breathtaking views or kick up your heels, relax and watch television or a movie on a 65"high definition screen smart TV. Maybe you just want to pull out a stool at the tiki bar and sip on a refreshing tropical splendor. Open the 18’ sliding glass door, and with the wall gone the house feels open and huge & flows from entry to the covered lanai which extends the living room in one seamless sweep. The sense of indoor – outdoor living could not be more complete. The private and quiet lanai is another spot where you could spend hours doing nothing but relax, and listen to the whisper of the wave’s splash gently at the shore. Watch the surfers swim by and the humpback whales frolic just a few hundred yards away. They will be a daily visitor in the winter launching themselves totally from the water in one of nature’s most amazing displays of power and magnitude. The turtles will also come by to visit you. In the evening smell the sizzle of the gas BBQ and watch the flaming spectacular sunset. So many choices! You honestly will have ALL the comforts of home along with a slice of PARADISE! On the second floor the mirrored wall in the master bedroom suite makes the ocean seem part of the room and offers another chance to be captivated by the view. Open the sliding glass door and feel the gentle breeze and smell the ocean air or walk onto the balcony where you will find a lounge chair and a bistro table and 2 chairs. Beds include: master bedroom - Cal-king size bed, guest bedroom - queen size bed (both on 2nd level), loft bedroom (3rd level)- King size bed or 2 twin beds (You have the option). There are 2 full baths on the 2nd level and 2 half baths (main level and 3rd floor). There are skylights in the master bath and 3rd level half bath. The laundry area is on the first floor. Beside the BIG screen in the living room, all rooms have individual air conditioners, and fans. You can stay connected while vacationing because this unit has an office center with a desk and free high speed internet as well as wireless access. We are located in a lush tropical setting in a private gated colony of low-rise, low density quality town houses (privately owned houses with no neighbors above or below) and share 28 acres of mature, majestic trees, exquisite gardens, manicured lawns and many dozens of graceful palms framing the Pacific Ocean along the sunny south shore of Lahaina in West Maui. This is truly the best weather on the Island! Stroll this magnificent pristine oasis and explore the botanical wonders with palm, banyan and mango trees and lush tropical landscaping filled with exotic flowers. You will meander under the bursting canopy of mature royal Poinciana trees with vibrant red blossoms. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly and ideal for those who want to be able to retreat from the crowds into the serene quiet of an elegant neighborhood. Private and peaceful are fitting images for this complex. Enjoy all homeowner’s amenities including tennis court, pickle ball court, children's playground and the dolphin pool. The ocean and mountain pool have some maintenance issues and are closed at this time. Two 18-hole Championship Golf Courses are located in nearby Kaanapali or drive further north to play golf in Kapalua. Ride the sugar cane train, take a guided hike to secret pools and waterfalls or enjoy many outdoor activities nearby. There were 6 of us, and we never felt crowded... plenty of room to relax inside and outside. The lanai is located literally 10 feet from the ocean! We saw whales and turtles right from the house - great views through the huge glass sliding doors in the living room and primary bedroom, plus a large table on the lanai and seating on the balcony outside the primary bedroom on the 2nd floor! There are incredible ocean views from the primary bedroom and the loft bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has nice views towards the mountains. The home was well equipped with supplies. Walks on the beach were also wonderful on the soft sand (you can enter right by the carport), and the roads throughout the neighborhood were perfect for walking and running. This unit was clean, well equipped, and had a very practical layout for our family of two adult couples plus two teenagers. Highlight was the waterfront location with covered patio a mere 20 feet from water’s edge! Wonderful sound of ocean waves, 24 hours a day.Not so wonderful was the major road about 50’ from the front door. In fairness, the ocean drowned out the traffic noise completely in the rear bedroom and the front bedroom was acceptably quiet as long as the windows were closed and the air conditioner was running.Not acceptable and no fault of the owners was the extremely annoying rooster living nearby that started crowing every morning between 4:20 and 5:00 am. Ear plugs were a necessity if you want to sleep later than 5 am and if you are a light sleeper, I would find accommodations in a building several floors above ground level. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is located in a gated community, so it felt private and quiet. The older gentleman who works security seemed to be a little over-zealous, but I’m sure he’s protective of his neighborhood. Karen was a very communicative, friendly, and responsive host. Within a short drive, we were able to explore the charming town of Lahaina. We found ourselves enchanted by the rich history and culture of the area. The townhouse is located near beaches, restaurants, and stores. It also is just a few steps to the beach right in the backyard. The home unfortunately was not clean. The sheets looked dingy and the place had lots of dust. I cleaned the counters before I started cooking and I'm glad I did because so much dirt came up. This place also needs to be updated, the furniture looks old and the beds are hard.The host made such a point of taking in sand but it's pretty much impossible even with the hose infant and back. The host also wanted the towels washed, customers pay the expensive cleaning fees so we don't have to spend our vacation doing laundry. Lastly this is out of the host control but when coming back to the home someone was in the designated parking spot, when we asked him to move he told us we could park in another spot. He did eventually move but maybe a sign can be put up because it's hard to find a spot at night especially when you have small children you are trying to carry in. ##### Brittany S. The townhome is on the beach and it’s an excellent place to watch the sea turtles and relax in the morning. The beach is swimmable but there is not an area directly in front of the house to sit on the beach for the day. The house has a master bedroom that faces the ocean and is nice. The second bedroom has a queen bed and faces the back of the townhome and highway. There is a loft with two twins or they will make it a king. We requested a king and ended up with two twins. It was great to hear the waves but not so great to hear the highway noise all night. The house was laid out well but would be nice to have a vacuum to clean while we were there. The house had a broom but it was pretty worn out. The cooler on the porch still had items from previous guests. The pool on the property is dated and in rough shape. The location of the pool was fantastic and we were bummed it was unmaintained and we didn’t want to use it. The neighborhood and neighbors were excellent, very friendly and lots of area for walking. The property manager was great for helping us check in and the directions were clear. We appreciated the follow up and clear directions and expectations of the property. ##### Stacy J. My wife and I celebrated my 50th with 2 my two dearest friends and their wives. It was excellent. The place had everything we needed and desired. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom, a balcony, and an amzing view of the ocean and shore. Beach access is available but it's mostly shore and rocky after the first 15 feet of walking in. We did have (6) adults and one two year old. This unit was functional but a bit dated. Very poor access to the water. The beach was very small and mostly rocky. This unit was far from the complex entrance and away from Lahaina. It would be a very long walk to town and the streets are small with no sidewalks. The entire complex was absolutely beautiful and well maintained but pools were very dated. I assume improvements will be made in the near future.
