Your own private mansion on the water in Lahaina (this home is partial ocean front). This is currently the largest vacation rental in Hawaii in terms of both square footage and sleeping arrangements. It sits adjacent to the ocean which means the warm Maui ocean water is just steps away from your backdoor. No expense was spared in creating the ideal property for multi generation family reunions, large family gatherings or corporate retreats. Upon arrival, you will instantly feel the pressures of normal life fade away. The ocean immediately behind the home, the soft maui breezes and the world famous sunsets are now at your fingertips. Our guests enjoy sitting on the balcony upstairs, drinking wine and enjoying a gorgeous view of the ocean with the Molokai/Lanai islands in the distance. This newly reconstructed home was completely reimagined in 2020 and offers the only opportunity in Hawaii to sleep a massive group of people (over 30) while still offering significant opportunities for privacy and relaxation. Spread across almost 12,000 square feet with 10 master bedrooms (each with it's own private bathroom), media room, fitness center, bunk bed room for the kids and large kitchen/gathering area on the top floor, this home truly has something for everyone. The mansion also has significant outdoor space which includes a full outdoor kitchen, BBQ area, outdoor ping pong, corn hole and much more! You'll feel like you have an entire resort to yourself. FAQ How many people can this home sleep? There are 10 master bedrooms which could accommodate 20 people. The bunk bed room can sleep an additional 8\. There are also several sofa sleepers throughout the home that can accommodate at least another 8 people. The sky is the limit on sleeping arrangements to fit your needs! How close is the water from the home? This home is ocean front with condo buildings to the north and south of it. Starting walking and count to 3 and you'll be in the water! Where is this home located? This home is in West Maui, in the city of Lahaina. Set between Kaanapali and Kapalua. Are my dates available? Our calendar is updated daily so please check for availability there. What is the total cost for booking this property? Please use the calendar option on this listing to plug your dates in, which will automatically produce a quote. Do you allow weddings, wedding dinners or parties? No. We respect the neighbors and will not allow any type of event at this home. Can we arrange for a private chef? Absolutely. We can recommend multiple chefs or you can find your own. Is there beach gear included? We supply beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. If you want additional items like snorkeling gear or surfboards, it is best to rent them from a local shop close by. There are many in the neighborhood and beach items are very cheap with daily or weekly rental rates. Is there an elevator on property? There is not an elevator on property. Is this home a legal vacation rental, registered with the county of Maui? This home is one of only a handful on island that is zoned hotel. This means that we are exempt from the short term vacation rental registration laws. The property is ideal for a large family. The rooms are spacious, quiet and the location makes it easy to shop for food. The description indicates beach access. While true one should know the beach is really only useable at low tide. But there is a beach park a couple of minutes walk down the road. The pool area isn’t in the sun so fairly cold and dark, at least at Christmas. So is the dining area. So we hardly used either. But the large dining room at the top of the building is wonderful. A couple of appliances weren’t functional. The property manager was responsive and attentive. Overall a good experience but with a little work on the property it could be even better. ##### Henri R. The property offered private access to the beach—while there wasn’t much sand for lounging, the snorkeling was incredible. The house itself was spacious and well thought out, with 11 rooms, each featuring its own bathroom, air conditioning, balcony, and mini fridge.It truly had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, from beach towels and pool floats to a well-stocked kitchen complete with spices. There were even two refrigerators (one in the kitchen and another by the BBQ area), plus both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. The views from the kitchen were simply stunning.We had a large group of 27 people, and we never once felt crowded—the layout and size of the home made it perfect for groups. It was honestly one of the best vacations I’ve ever had.One thing to note: there are quite a few stairs to climb daily, especially to access the kitchen, so this might be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. That said, the location couldn’t have been better—walking distance to a park, coffee shop, store, and restaurants.I would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a beautiful, spacious place to enjoy a memorable vacation! ##### Mindi G. The beach out front was such a blessing for the little ones, but I suggest water shoes as the rocks are sharp around that area and several of us cut our feet. The house is centrally located to other beaches and good snorkeling locations, although the snorkeling from the beach in front of the house was also great - we saw sea turtles, eels, fish and even a seal! The kitchen is on the 4th floor, which means you have quite a few stairs to climb, so just make note of that. Each room was huge and I loved that every room had a bathroom as well as its own AC unit. The beds were super comfortable with high quality sheets and pillows. We loved playing on the beach which was literally steps away from the home and watching the sunset (we even saw a few whales). There were also lots of sea turtles that hung out in the water so we’d get excited every time one popped its head out. With room for 32 guests, each suite featured king beds, sectional couches, private bathrooms, and fridges (except the cozy top-floor room). The open layout was ideal for our family, especially for our 7- and 8-year-old grandchildren.We loved the spacious top-floor kitchen with two large refrigerators, two dishwashers, and ample seating, plus a festive Christmas tree. This is such a fantastic home in the best location on Maui. We LOVE having the private beach in our own backyard, plenty of space to gather as a family with privacy in the bedrooms if we want it. The teens work out in the fitness center, the kids play in the pool and the adults lay out on the beach, all without leaving!
