IT'S ALL ABOUT THE VIEW, not to mention you can't beat the price!
This ocean front condo has beach access within 60 seconds of our door.
It sits approximately 20 feet above sea level and is located less than 12 feet from the waters edge. The view is nothing less than spectacular. An enlarged 1st floor terrace with a roof for shade allows you to enjoy ocean front dining or to just kick back and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. A newly installed shade sail on the spacious 2nd floor terrace provides a beautiful view while allowing for protection from the sun. Granite countertops in kitchen and an enlarged bedroom make this unit unique within the resort. Direct TV with CNN, Disney, Discovery, Nat Geo and many more. Lounge in the pool just outside your back door or walk down the steps to snorkel or dive at Playa Lagun. Two dive shops and two restaurant's are located next to our property with lots of other restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Christoffel National Park and Shete Boca are about 15 minutes away.

The Island of Curacao has many wonders to enjoy. Take in the most beautiful sunset you've ever seen, snorkel before breakfast, dive right from our beach, teach your children to swim or eat at one of the two restaurants located at Playa Lagun. All of this are at your fingertips from Lagoon Ocean Resort. The ocean is calm and the sea life is abundant. The climate is warm, yet our trade winds keep you comfortable. Curacao is located outside the hurricane belt next to Aruba in the Caribbean where it never rains for very long.

You are sure to run out of time before running out of things to see and do. We have a full time Resident Manager on site to attend to your needs and ensure a carefree stay. If you are arriving late, let us know and we can arrange to have a small food/drink package waiting for you.

A Bit of Paradise
Our stay at Scottā€™s was wonderful. The place made us feel right at home and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The view! I could have sat on the patios for another week watching the sunset. The snorkeling was amazing. I even saw an octopus! We checked out some of Scottā€™s suggested restaurants and enjoyed them all. The spot was convenient to many fun places to explore but also perfect for simply hanging out. The iguanas were so nice to see each day and the pool was refreshing after our snorkeling adventures. Thank you, Scott, for sharing your lovely place with us. We hope to be back one day.

Awesome place to stay. We were a little suspicious that it wouldn't be as great as it advertised, but we loved it! Walked to a swim and snoring beach right outside the property, and then drove to 4 others within 15 minutes. Scott was great to work with and gave great advice on where to go and eat, etc.

Great space and view - a bit far from the action
The space was beautiful and huge and the view was unreal. I do think itā€™s a better space for groups than single people (they have a grill and kitchen but I didnā€™t end up using those). Something I wish I knew was how hard it would be to get around. It was very far from most things and taxis there were very expensive. There was a bus that came once every two hours. It would be nice if there were tours that came to the resort or picked you up from there for those who canā€™t drive. That said I would definitely come back with a group (and a car) as it was a lovely place!

GREAT LOCATION!
Lagoon Ocean Resort and this property is an awesome place to stay if you want to stay on the more quiet side of Curacao near some of the best beaches on the island. The location is directly on a cliff over Playa Lagun, which offers a great view, slightly rocky beach and beginner snorkeling. Onsite dive shop offers snorkel rentals at $12 per day. The apartment itself is sufficient, but it's all about the location. The bed was just two twins pushed together with separate bedding for each. Air conditioning upstairs works OK, but takes a while to cool, while the downstairs A/C leaves more cooling to be desired, even on the lowest setting. Most cookware and utensils are provided, however the stove and electrical outlets in the kitchen need to be looked at. The television is an Android SmartTV with Netflix and YouTube. Internet in the apartment is good. Power went out one day for the entire side of the island, and that lasted 9 hours. No fault of this property. There is also a restaurant onsite, which is BAD. Avoid it and spend your money at Discover Lagun, just across the street from Playa Lagun beachfront. The owner/manager, Scott, was VERY responsive to any concerns we had and very patient in dealing with us when we needed help completely unrelated to the property. A++ for this owner. Hopefully I'll get to come back to Scott's apartment some day!

Very nice stay
Great property with nice view of lagoon. The only negative would be the weak wifi connection. We were continually getting bounced off and then had to wait to reconnect. Overall a clean and quiet place to rent.

Clean & cozy. Wonderful location! Well stocked kitchen. Great place to unplug because of spotty wifi. Loved the beach chairs! Would not have booked this place knowing the safe would be non-working during our entire stay.

Beautiful views, nice beach and snorkeling
We were very fortunate to have stayed the month of January in Scott's condo at Lagoon Ocean Resort-absolutely fantastic views!! The condo had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed many home-cooked meals and were only steps from the very good Bahia restaurant. There are many good restaurants less than 10 minutes away in Westpundt. The tap water is great for drinking-Curacao has a desalination plant known for great quality water. There is no built-in oven but the toaster oven was large and worked great for baking/roasting meats and vegetables. Scott provided us with information on sight seeing, restaurants and grocery shopping. The condo has ac in both the living area and the upstairs bedroom. There are screens on all windows!! The west end of Curacao is absolutely beautiful and really peaceful. We went snorkeling daily at different beaches and the snorkeling was pretty good. We saw people shore diving and night snorkeling from the Lugan Bay beach. While snorkeling you'll see various fish and something different every day. We rented a car for the month from a local company-Dushi car rentals. They had much better reviews than the well known rental car companies--they had no extra charges and met you at the airport. Amir was great to work with and our car was very nice. The manager Ivy did a great job cleaning the cono. She also washed our clothes for a reasonable fee. Our rental was well worth the price and we had a perfect month in paradise!! Thank you Scott
