The complex has much to offer from a beautiful pool with palm trees to a gym and even a small children’s play area. The apartment is situated on the first floor, with a small terrace both front and back of the property where you can sit and unwind with your favourite drink. Inside it is light and airy with plenty of space to enjoy your stay. This apartment has a King size bed in the main bedroom, with an en suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The second bedroom has two single beds and there is a second bathroom with a shower cubicle. A brand new fully fitted kitchen with everything that you need to make this the perfect place to stay. The lounge/dining room gives you plenty of space to sit and relax and enjoy some of the great local Portuguese food with friends or family or to simply unwind after a day of sightseeing. Around the pool area you will find sunbeds available allowing you to simply relax and enjoy the warm weather that Portugal has to offer. You will find two beach side restaurants and a bus stop for going into the town centre. Alternatively, an approximate 8-minute car/taxi ride will also take you into the bustling historic town of Lagos. Lagos perfectly blends traditional Portuguese culture with beautiful beaches and great tourist facilities. It has an amazing historic centre with lots to explore and a leisurely walk alongside the charming harbours estuary. With an extensive selection of restaurants to choose from and nightlife, you will be spoilt for choice. Close to Lagos is a variety of activities and sights which range from waterparks to zoos, through to historic monuments and challenging hiking and biking trails. There are three golf courses within close proximity to Lagos, making it an ideal location for your base. \## Transit There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. Listing showed apartment located in or near Lagos centre / old town - please note that is not the case, it’s in Porta Mos which is a 30-35 min walk away. But we preferred Porta Mos as beach was close and town easily accessible. Great restaurants in Lagos centre and loads of water sport options and trips. The gym, tennis courts and tv channel offerings were not up to standards therefore were somewhat disappointing. It would have been nice to have some games/puzzles provided for entertainment on down days. We had a few issues initially that were dealt with in a timely manner. Communication was good with the property manager. The building number would be useful in locating the apartment. Beach access was great. The walk to town was about 25 min. Access to hiking trails was excellent. Our stay was for one month. Fresh linens and towels would have been appreciated during the stay. Photo attached shows advertised location (green) and where the property is in reality (red cross). It's a lovely location if that's what you choose but we were incredibly disappointed to be missold. Once we arrived we saw a review as early as 2023 that flags this but neither Rental Valley (the property managers) nor Expedia have addressed this on the website for future visitors. Rental Valley blame Expedia's estimate location being wrong and Expedia blame Rental Valley's listing. The apartment is a little tired in parts but it was spacious, comfortable, the pool & cafe are lovely facilities within the apartment complex. It is slightly further away from things than what is posted so just look up the distances prior to booking. Only disappointment was the location, the Vrbo map shows that it is in old town & even states an 8 minute walk to the marina. It is actually quite a distance from old town and a 45 minute walk to the marina. Other than that, it’s a great place. ##### Bill B. Management did not leave the keys and were almost 2 hours late after my checkin time with keys.
