Peaceful countryside location for utter relaxation,you literally could hear a pin drop! Panoramic views over the Bay of Lagos at the front; Monchique hills at the side and the village of Portelas at the back. Easy access to the splendid old town of Lagos with its multitude of restaurants and bars - just 1 mile to the very centre, less to the Marina, plus a private full sized pool (10m x 5m, heated if needed at extra cost) with spacious terraces, set in a lovely secure walled garden with large grassed area for ball games. Pool heating is available at a cost of £150pw and £50 preheat if needed. Please note the villa can only sleep 6 in winter as the annex doubles up as a winter sitting room. In the Summer there is an option to sleep 8 with the annexe at additional cost of 20% of rental agreement. This villa works very well for three generations of a family and also perfect for two families, due to the annex with two extra beds at extra cost. Very baby friendly, we provide all the kit to lighten your load - cot / play pen, high chair, digital baby monitor, steriliser and bottle warmer, even a few toys and a potty! New bathrooms recently installed and kItchen renovated, new windows and doors and electric shutters. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, just as effective as air conditioning in the hottest months and much more environmentally friendly and mosquito screens on all bedrooms to sleep with windows open as well. Our villa has been inspected and awarded it's tourist licence 4401/AL. Free WiFi. All bedrooms on ground floor, plus 2 bathrooms, 1 ensuite, and downstairs kitchenette for poolside drinks and BBQ crockery. Marble stairs lead to upstairs sitting room with dining area and main kitchen. Also a large terrace with outdoor eating area with fantastic views and a recently new landscaped garden.Outdoors is a large kidney pool surrounded by spacious terraces, a built in BBQ, a pergola providing a shady area and a large lawn suitable for ball games. Fiz a pesquisa para 6 adultos e 2 crianças e optei por esta casa mas apenas depois da reserva ficou claro que o quarto nr 4 (anexo) e a 3ª casa de banho completa teriam um valor extra, assim como camas extra para as crianças. No espaço exterior, faltam bases para guarda sóis para que possamos ajustar sombra conforme necessário. Algumas coisas a necessitar de serem renovadas mas de forma geral ok. Ponto a favor: estores em todas as janelas assim como redes mosquiteiras. ##### Filipa M. It was lovely to have a pool to ourselves with ample seating and pool side loungers. The grounds were well maintained with wonderful views over Lagos towards the sea.. It was also nice to have the option to dine either indoors or alfresco. Villa directions made it easy to find with only a 5 minute drive from Lagos.We has an issue with the pool filtration plant not working but that was speedily resolved within 90 minutes of reporting it. Great size pool and lots of outdoor space for you little one to play. The toys and floats were an added bonus! Super clean too and great communication with the owner and manager in Lagos. Es gibt eine schöne Terrasse im Erdgeschoss. Dort sind auch alle Schlafzimmer, eine kleine Küche und drei Badezimmer (wenn man die große Version des Hauses bucht). Zwei Bäder sind ganz neu renoviert. Im oberen Stockwerk ist die „richtige“ Küche und ein großes Wohnzimmer mit einem Balkon, der einen schönen Meer- und Stadtblick hat. Die Küche ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber gut ausgestattet, auch wenn Besteck und Geschirr ein großes Sammelsurium sind. Es gibt zwei Kühlschränke mit Gefrierfach, was im Sommer sehr gut ist. Der Pool ist sehr schön und es sind genügend Liegen da. Auch eine Wiese lädt zum Spielen ein, z. B. Volleyball oder Federball. Wir haben folgende Verbesserungsvorschläge/Informationen: - der Pool könnte einmal in der Mitte der Woche gereinigt werden, wenn es dauerhaft über 30 Grad hat. - wenn fremde Handwerker vorbeikommen sollte vorher Bescheid gegeben werden. - da die Villa recht abgelegen am Rande einer Gruppierung von Häusern liegt kann man keinesfalls in den Ort laufen: es ist zu weit und zu gefährlich. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus weiterempfehlen entweder für zwei Familien mit ganz kleinen Kindern oder eine Familie mit erwachsenen Kindern. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mitten im August ist wirklich fair. ##### Martin S. The 3 directional views from the upstairs dining area are stunning and we enjoyed breakfast and evening meals up there. The pool area is large and has a lovely shaded seating area covered by a bougainvillea which we were delighted to find. There was an area for playing ball games with beautiful hibiscus and other lovely flowers. We were excited to find a huge selection of English books and somes games. including chess. The weather was perfect. Windy and sunny so we were pleased we had brought a jumper for the evening as the wind made the evenings cool. Perfect. Thank you! Oh yes! We saw Dolphins (book for a morning trip if you want calm seas) and took a speed boat to see the Benagil caves from Portimao which was beautiful.
