Casa Ancora, with pool and 3m drive to the beach Apt. Casa Ancora: This two bedroom apartment is ideally located in the very popular Ancora Resort, just a short 3 minute drive from the beautiful, coved beach of Porto de Mós and a 5 minute drive from the historical centre of Lagos. To the rear of the low-rise condominium, in a gated walled landscaped garden set with palm trees, you will find the swimming pool, jacuzzi and shower area. The apartment is located on the second floor (top floor) of this very nice low-rise condominium and there is a lift. The owners have furnished the apartment to a very high standard and decorated in decorated in warm and modern tones. As soon as you walk in you are immediately impressed by the spacious open plan living room which also has a dining area and, a fully fitted kitchen to the right. The large dining table can be extended to seat 6 people and the kitchen also possess a small breakfast bar with stools for those who wish to grab a quick coffee.The living room comes equipped with a TV and DVD/Stereo system and one of the sofas converts into a bed providing sleeping arrangements for 2 children or 1 adult (comfortably). There is an additional cost of €5 pppn for additional guests sleeping on the sofa bed. Sliding patio doors lead out from the lounge to large terrace overlooking the pool and gardens. The terrace is equipped with table and chairs and a built in BBQ for that all important al fresco dining. There is also access to the terrace from the kitchen. The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and is large and airy with patio doors to the balcony. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath as well as a shower over the bath. The second bedroom is equally light and airy, with 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes and patio doors to the balcony. It has use of the second bathroom which is fitted with a shower. Both bathrooms have tiles and fittings that are modern and bright and, both bedrooms have access to a 2nd large balcony terrace which is separate from the lounge terrace and is equipped with sunbeds for private sunbathing. The apartment has a built in stereo system for playing music through your MP3, which can be operated in every room via a control panel in the wall. There is also Air conditioning throughout. There is ample car parking right outside the door and for the more energetic the resort has an Olympic swimming pool surrounded by a large grassed area, umbrellas and sunbeds which guests can pay to use. We were there for a month and were quite surprised to find they delivered extra towels and bedding shortly after we arrived....a bonus. The unit had a western exposure with access to the balconies from every room. We lost our hot water once during the month but this was resolved almost immediately. The neighborhood was also nice - we were able to walk to the beaches nearby. The downside was the apartment amenities. Each bathroom had 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 little bar of soap, so be prepared to buy all of the basics (sponge, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, tissues or paper towels, etc.). Komplett ausgestattet, toll auch der integrierte Grillplatz auf der Terrasse. Zwei große Balkone mit Blick auf den schönen Pool. Sehr hochwertiges Haus mit genug Parkplätzen. Toll auch das separate Badezimmer für das Eltern-Schlafzimmer. Blick vom Balkon auf die Sportanlagen eines Luxus -Hotels, während unserer Zeit hat der FC Porto dort trainiert. Allerdings hört man so auch die typischen Fußballgeräusche vormittags . Kleine Bauruinie stört etwas den Ausblick. wlan etwas schwach. Den Vermieter haben wir nicht gesehen, es lief alles über Whattsapp. Leider hat er eine Anfrage zu nicht ganz heißen Wasser ignoriert. Wir waren trotzdem extrem zufrieden mit dem Appartement und würden es sofort wieder buchen. ##### Ralph H. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Christine S. 18 juill. 2019 Points forts : Propreté #### Wohlfühlen in perfekter Lage Die Fewo ist in einer sehr gepflegten, sauberen und ruhigen Anlage. Sie liegt etwas außerhalb, aber trotzdem zentral. Parkplätze sind direkt vor dem Haus in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Es gibt einen Swimmingpool mit Sonnenliegen. Die Wohnfläche ist ideal für 4 Personen. Es gibt 2 Bäder mit Dusche bzw. Badewanne und 2 große Balkone mit Grill und Esstisch mit Stühlen bzw. mit Sonnenliegen. Vor allen Fenstern sind Fliegengitter, so dass es keinerlei Insekten in der Wohnung gibt. Außerdem ist die Wohnung vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt. Man benötigt also prinzipiell keine Klimaanlage (auch wenn diese vorhanden ist). Supermärkte (Lidl, Aldi und Intermaché) sind in wenigen Minuten per Auto erreichbar. Zum Strand sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Insgesamt ist die Fewo ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für alle Unternehmungen. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohlgefühlt!!! Terrific location, very clean and spacious and had all the facilities that you would ever need. Check in and out was easy and all emails to property manager were replied to promptly. This property was a delight, spacious and comfortable. It was especially nice to not have to fight for a parking space. A few improvements would have made the apartment even better; the plumbing pipes made a sound consistently throughout the day; the mattress pads crinkle and are flaking; the dining chairs are very worn and flaking. There are actually 2 nice bathrooms, not just one as listed in the information. The view out the back veranda is hindered by an abandoned concrete structure and unkept building lots. ##### Jon B. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Christian D., Landshut, Deutschland 23 mai 2019 #### Super Unterkunft in Top-Lage Die Unterkunft hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Zwei große Schlafzimmer mit tollen Bädern. Die zwei Sonnenterrassen waren ideal. Es wurden sogar die Handtücher 1x pro Woche gewechselt. Die Wege zu den Stränden sind zu Fuß problemlos machbar und es sind viele Lebensmittelgeschäft in Lagos, zu denen man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto fahren kann. Die Wohnung ist für Familien mit Kindern perfekt, Fahrstuhl im Haus und der Pool direkt hinter dem Haus. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt komplett. Der Kontakt war sehr nett.
