We have 4 large bedrooms, 2 with Kingsize beds, and 2 with twin beds - offering flexibility for every situation. Plenty of private parking. A/C, electric window shutters and a lush garden that wraps around the villa means privacy & comfort are a given. The space This is a stunning example of a luxury 4 bedroom Portuguese villa with heated pool - arranged on the ground floor with gardens that surround the entirety of the house. A large sweeping driveway leads to the main entrance of the villa. Just inside the wide front door, you can find a cloakroom and a spacious foyer. Forget your cares when you close the front door behind you & let every need be met by this fabulous house. There is a fully fitted kitchen, should you wish to cook a meal. Plenty of nearby restaurants give you the option to avoid all domestic chores, if you prefer. Two separate Barbeque areas in the grounds give the whole group plenty of options to find a hangout space that suits the moment. A family sized lounge is perfect for watching a film at the end of a long day of adventures, or choose from a stack of board games, puzzles or books for more entertainment options. Everything has been considered in this space - including the easy access HDMI cable for handy connection of games consoles etc. Patio doors throughout the property give access to the grounds, lending the villa a true inside/outside living experience. A private indoor courtyard with seating and BBQ area can be accessed from the dining area, with stairs leading from this shaded nook to the open roof terrace where wide views of the surrounding lush greenery and sea views can be enjoyed from the comfortable patio furniture. All four bedrooms offer direct access to the terrace - with two providing Kingsize beds, and the second two with twin beds. You will sleep comfortably here with A/C in every room, along with electric window shutters for the total blackout experience. Two bedrooms offer ensuite bathrooms in a traditional style. Bedrooms three and four share the use of a third fully equipped family bathroom. Fitted wardrobes in every bedroom means you can really feel at home for the duration of your stay. The swimming pool is a standout feature of the property. Measuring 12x6m, it's the ideal size for getting some lengths in, or lounging about on the provided pool toys. The extensive patio area has a further built-in seating section near to the traditional barbeque. Sunbeds and dining furniture can be found throughout the house and grounds, giving plenty of options for relaxation. This villa is fully enclosed with a private driveway with space for several vehicles. Well-furnished and presented, this is a great choice for larger family groups! With a beautiful beach only a few minutes walk away, along with nearby restaurants, a supermarket and other facilities. Praia do Vale de Centeanes beach offers snack bars and water sports, as well boat trips which are available to explore the surrounding coast nearby. The famous seven hanging valleys walking trail starts at the same beach and is well worth the effort for the views of the magnificent coastline. Vale do Milho Golf welcomes all ages and abilities so an ideal activity for families. For more serious golfers, Gramacho is a ten-minute drive. Rocha brava is a five-minute walk and tennis courts and a gym can be found there. Ubers are also easy to book and quickly available. The villa had everything we needed, and Paul was always on hand to help us with anything we needed - very grateful for running us to and back from the local supermarket and for the restaurant recommendations. It is located in a very quiet cul de sac, with ample parking. It has a good sized pool, good sized in-built bbq, and a lovely dining area. The pool area is kitted out with plenty of loungers and shade. It's a 15 minute walk to the closest beach (Vale Centeanes) and thanks to Uber, the town centre is just a 5 minute drive away (10 minutes if you count the wait time), which means you can go out and enjoy the many restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend this property, and the host (Paul) lives nearby (practical should you need anything) and is very knowledgeable about Carvoeiro and the surrounding areas. There are two very good supermarkets just over 5 minutes drive away (Intermarche and Apolonia) and the best waterpark in Europe (Slide and Splash Lagoa) is a 10 to 15 minute drive away (Highly recommended if you have kids with you). The Carvoiero Boat Tours, which you book from Carvoeiro Beach, are a fantastic way to spend the morning. All in all, I would highly recommend the property and the area. Two families traveling together with 4 teenagers, and we felt we had plenty of room to spread out. The larger bedrooms for the adults were at opposite ends of the home for a bit more privacy. There was enough room so we could spread out and not be falling over each other. Wi-fi was good. The kitchen is a bit small by our standards, so you probably dont want to plan on cooking large meals, but was fine for putting together breakfast or a lunch snack. Bathrooms were large and clean- be sure to bring your own soap! Pool is always everyone's highlight- but even with it heated, it was too cold for us most of the time. However, the outdoor spaces were a highlight for us. We grilled and enjoyed our drinks on the patio on multiple beautiful nights. There is a high wall around the house, giving it a sense of privacy and grandeur. The walking path around the home is well landscaped. We enjoyed the home's location set away from the bustle of downtown, but close enough to reach most spots in 15-20 minute walk. There is a shortcut between homes that cuts off time from what Google maps predicts. There are 3 restaurants, a small market, and a coffee shop within a 5 minute walk. It is only 4-5 euros to get downtown. The best part of the home was the host- Paul. He was super friendly and accommodating. Paul and Isobel, the hosts, were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They were always ready with advice and restaurant recommendations (try La Palmeria for delicious Portuguese food). The villa was absolutely fabulous with a great pool and plenty of amenities. The bedrooms were perfect for our family, as we went with our parents and two children. There are two king size rooms with en-suite bathrooms and next to one of those are two twin rooms which share a bathroom. It was extremely spacious and spotlessly clean. Location wise, we didn't have a car and used Uber for the ten minute drive into Carvoeiro. There was a small shop with a restaurant next to it about a 10 minute walk away from the villa. Also nearby was the Lighthouse which is a pool bar in the day (our kids loved the shallow pool) and at night a gorgeous restaurant with stunning views out to sea. This is a 5 minute stroll from the villa. There is also a shortcut down to a small beach. We did not have a car and found we didn't need one. You can get shopping delivered from Apolonia by ordering online (think the Waitrose of Portugal) or jump into a taxi to the nearby Aldi or Intermarche. We can't wait to come back. We did not have a car but it did not matter as the house was located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants, beaches, the coastal trail as well as the town of Carvoeiro. Also plenty of Ubers in the area to visit the other nearby towns. The house itself was perfect for our group of 6, well equipped with dishes etc and loads of space both indoors and outdoors to enjoy. The listing was accurate except it said two bedooms had king sized beds. This might be by European standards but they were at most Queen sized by North American standards. Otherwise the bedrooms/ensuites were as pictured. Also listing mentioned a whirlpool spa so our group thought this meant a hot tub but there wasn’t one. The weather was a bit cool for April and even with the pool heated it was not warm enough for most of our group. Regardless we enjoyed the great deck spaces around the house. The host was very helpful on arrival and in getting us set up with a grocery run! A misunderstanding about the lock box at the end of our stay ended our otherwise fantastic stay on a bit of a bad note, but the owner fortunately took care of the issue. Overall this is a high end property, in a perfect location to explore the beautiful Algarve!! Our group would definitely stay at this property again!! ##### Susan K. What a stunning, luxurious, and fit for purpose property. Paul and his wife Isabel were on hand to give us a warm welcome. Both were readily available right from the start of our holiday to offer advice and guidance as to not only how things worked in the villa but also nearby restaurants and tourist highlights. The weather being kind we were able to enjoy the Pool and its facilities. I would recommend paying for the Pool heating if your visiting slightly out of season . An extra weather bonus was we were able to avail ourselves of the fully equipped BBQ having dinner. Enjoyable as it was, I am sure it would be even more enjoyable in the spring and summer months. Comfort and facilities inside were just as good. The fully equipped kitchen and utensils would easily cater for the eight settings at the table. The spacious living area allowed for relaxation with the TV fully loaded with apps such as Netflix etc. The house layout meant that the bedrooms areas were completely separate allowing for privacy and quietness. Simply ideal if I had been there with my parents. Been doing this for some years now. Simply put, this is the best villa that I have ever stayed in and recommend when you maybe have your VRBO board set up take a closer look at this one.
