### The Flower Artist Home- walk to Pub, Shops & Trails. Dog-friendly!

Our charming and dreamy artist's home is a tranquil escape minutes away from Lake Waneka, shops, hikes, restaurants, Old Town, and public transport. Our home is lovingly furnished with a shabby chic farmhouse design, lots of natural light, and an open floor plan. Well-stocked kitchen, free off-street + driveway parking, huge back yard, private hot-tub, home theater, free & fast WiFi, full w/d, and quiet safe neighborhood. We can sleep up to 7 guests. 3 bedrooms upstairs -queen, bunkbed, and pull-out day bed. Fenced yard + (1) >50 lb dog friendly. Open for longer stays & short-term rentals during the winter. \*\*Note: We primarily live in the attached garage apartment which is extra sound-proofed and has a separate side entrance. Our guests rarely see or hear us and we are available if anything comes up. Guests have exclusive access to the driveway and backyard. The door to our studio stays locked for the entirety of our guest stays. Past guest references are available if you have any concerns or questions. :)  
  
The space  
We love our sweet home in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from all the big shops. Our extra-large backyard has well-established trees, patio seating, lots of room to run, and a fire pit. The master bedroom upstairs with a small private bathroom with a shower feels like it is in a tree house. Regina is an artist, gardener, and tidying coach so there is lavish beauty throughout. The home is well-organized and very clean.  
  
Three bedrooms upstairs:  
1)The main bedroom upstairs has a Queen-sized bed with a hybrid memory foam mattress for the ultimate nights sleep and a small private bathroom with a shower. 2) There is a bunk bed with a full-size mattress and single mattress across the hall. 3) The smallest bedroom has a single trundle bed that can convert into a king-size that fills the room. The lower "sunken" den/family room has a home theater big comfy couch, a recliner chair, and a walkout to the backyard.   
  
Gas Range and Ice Maker in the fully stocked kitchen with semi-new appliances and a stocked Keurig.   
  
Full bathroom off the upstairs hall and a shower off the main bedroom. Full-size washer and dryer in the upstairs hallway, complete with all the laundry supplies you could wish for.  
  
We love dogs and are happy to welcome one guest dog under 50 pounds if they are well-behaved and crate-trained. We do have several pet etiquette policies and an extra pet fee of $20/night. Please inquire and let us know details about your furry companion.  
  
We VRBO both of our homes next door to each other! Both are now available for extended longer stays / short-term rental during the winter months with discounted rates! Book both for a family holiday or reunion- a perfect option for family holidays when family members need a little space! ;)  
  
And, YES, we are well stocked with toilet paper and cleaning supplies. :)

Regina has thought of everything. The house is well-appointed. We walked in to a clean, inviting, cozy, safe, lovely home. My kids loved it! Any little thing I thought of Regina had already made sure was present in the house. Our stay was a breeze with no hassle or unexpected twists.

My siblings and I came to CO to see our brother who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We needed a place to gather close to his home and fortunately we found this house. It had everything we needed and then some. It was clean and comfortable with a great backyard; the perfect place to come back to after a difficult day. Thank you.

#### Perfect Family Home

We absolutely loved our stay in this home. For the friends and family we were there to visit, this home's location was perfect and no further than 30 minutes from anything we needed to do! I was a bit nervous going into our stay with the note that the owners lived on the property (in the attached garage), but this was not even a slight issue for us during our entire week's stay! I didn't hear a single noise, and our family still felt like we had more than enough privacy. If anything, I was more worried that the owners would have to hear our twin infants crying and hoped that would not disturb anyone. Our hosts were perfectly great and had zero complaints--so we were truly able to enjoy the space and all it had to offer! Not to mention, our dogs and 3 year old loved the large backyard. The house had so many thoughtful touches that made staying there a breeze (fridge and pantry staples, washer/dryer, bathroom supplies, etc.). If we are ever in the area again, we'd stay here in a heartbeat!

#### Everything You'd Want In a Place at Great Value!

My wife and I and our two french poodles (Charley and Jake) were in need of a place to live (for a few weeks) while our house was undergoing renovations to get it ready to sell (but that's another story). This property worked out quite well for us. It has basically everything a family of four or more would need let alone our small tribe. The yard is a knock out, very big and just right for our two canines. There's an excellent washing machine and dryer. The kitchen has everything: microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal. etc. The place is uplifted by Regina's (one of the owners) amazing floral artwork. It is a well light three bedroom medium sized house close to stores and beautiful Waneka Lake with walking and biking paths in abundance. The locals are generally very friendly and walks early in the morning or afternoon can be amazing with breathtaking views of the snow capped Rocky Mountains (Indian Peaks all the way to the magnificent Longs Peak!). Also, Jay and Regina are great hosts, very accessible and willing to help out with questions or concerns. They've installed a fantastic home entertainment system with access to Netflix, Amazon, Showtime, HBO Max and all the sports and TV News channels you'd want (plus a DVD player). All in all our experience here was well above average. My wife and I (and Charley and Jake) wholeheartedly recommend it!

#### Fabulous experience in Lafayette!

This is a wonderful property. The owner was friendly and efficient. We were able to walk around the lake, walk downtown, and check out some great coffee spots. The house is clean, well-furnished, and has all the amenities needed and then some! We stayed with our family of 4 and beagle over Thanksgiving. We took a trip to Boulder and it was a short ride. The backyard was safe and fenced in for the dog. The artwork from the owner is wonderful and the house gives a very cozy feeling as if your friends went on vacation and you got to stay in their home. Warm, inviting, and a Fabulous experience! Will definitely stay again if we head back to that area!

Great location and very comfortable house. Short drive to downtown Louisville. Small children’s playground around the corner and within walking distances to Waneka Lake. Pictures of property are pretty accurate.

The BEST VRBO hosts! Very quick to respond to questions. Great communication. House manual had great information about the house and the local area. House was beautiful. Very well organized and stocked with almost everything you need for a great stay away from home! 5+ stars all around!!

#### Mostly Pros, Small Cons.

The home is beautiful and the yard is amazing. The owners were so kind and did so many extra little things to make sure we had a nice stay. They stocked the fridge, left a lovely bottle of wine, left fresh cut flowers and even dog treats for our pups. The house was so clean and felt very cozy. The yard is huge, has a privacy fence and is a fun place to hang out. The cons: I didn’t read the entire description of the property and didn’t realize that the home owners live and work in the garage studio apartment with their 2 dogs. They are super sweet people, but my preference is to rent an entire home. We could hear their conversations when we were watching tv at night. That didn’t bother my husband, but I have a hard time ignoring background noise. The house is also pretty small for this price range, but the backyard does offer lots of extra space.
