This was a total surprise! An amazing little resort with beautiful views of the lake. The rooms were super comfortable and the food was amazing (braised Beef). The most calming and refreshing little place. We went canoeing at sunset and were lucky enough to see loons with their babies, and even a beaver gliding by. We also went fishing during our stay. While we didn’t catch anything, it was still a lot of fun we saw lots of big fish in the water, and around sunset they started jumping everywhere. The room was very comfortable. I had requested a first-floor room to accommodate my mother, and the staff kindly made sure that was arranged, which we really appreciated. We had a delicious dinner at the on-site restaurant the food was excellent. The only small downside was that there is just one firepit on the property, and it was in use by a large family reunion. We didn’t want to interrupt them, so we missed out on having a campfire and making s’mores. Still, it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time.
