### Charming Riverside Cottage with Bike Path, Nearby Eateries, and Horse Facilities

Looking out the window at the edge of the Mayenne river and the towpath, discover this place at the Neuville lock, an exceptional site. This towpath has become the Vélofrancette, a bike path offering all the services to enjoy a stay along the water. Live the Slowlydays spirit!  
On foot, on horseback, by bike, by canoe, or by boat.  
  
Evelyne and Lucien will know how to tell you about Mayenne and guide you to enjoy all the treasures of this region: small restaurants, local producers (llama wool, meat, vegetables, etc.).  
You can enjoy the catering services of the restaurant Les Copains d'abord nearby and the artisans along the way (cutlery course in particular just a stone's throw away).  
If you are with horses, you can put them in the 2.5ha fenced field, with 3 paddocks.  
If you have bicycles: possibility of leaving them in a closed garage.  
By bike, you are 20 minutes from the town of Château-Gontier (8km) via the towpath, so you can enjoy the Refuge de l'Arche (animal park), the marina and the Canotika captaincy (rental bike, boats, etc.), aquatic complex, museum and theater (Le Carré national stage). The town also offers all the shops and restaurants.  
  
If there are a large number of you, other accommodation is possible at the Neuville lock: the Moulin de Neuville (10 people) H53G019721. Possibility of guest rooms also on the other side of the river, at Chambres d'hôtes du Parc (up to 4 people) H53H010699: you will be transported by a small boat. Ground floor, a living room of almost 40m² with fitted kitchen, a bathroom with walk-in shower, as well as a separate toilet.  
1st: 2 bedrooms - 1 bedroom with a 140x190 bed - 1 bedroom with 2 90x190 beds. Wireless. Television.  
Access through the living room to the private wooden terrace on one side (not enclosed), and on the other to the enclosed garden with parking overlooking the Mayenne. Charcoal barbecue. Shed for bicycles or motorcycles. 2.5ha of land for horses.  
Baby: travel cot, high chair, changing mat.  
Options:  
Cleaning €50 for stays of 1 to 14 nights (compulsory for professionals).  
Optional sheets: €10 per pair/stay, optional towels: €10/person/stay.  
Heating: €7/night in provision of charges (from 10/15 to 4/15), assessment at the end of the stay by meter reading with the owner. If excess: pay directly to the owner.  
Pets not accepted.  
Weekend stay: from Friday 5 \[hidden\] to Sunday 5 \[hidden\]

Coming from Paris or Laval, N 162 take the D4 towards Quelaines Cossé le vivien. At Houssay take the D 112 (route des écluses) towards Saint Sulpice. In Saint Sulpice take direction Château Gontier (D 112) about 1 km take on the left direction ecluse de Neuville. Then about 2 km you have arrived. Coming from Château Gontier, take the D112 (locks road) for around 6 kms do not go to Saint Sulpice. Take the Neuville lock road for around 2 kms and you have arrived.
