State of the art construction and amenities, channeling the original aura of this mystical locale. The one and two-story Spanish Hacienda-style villas, with sloping red-tiled roofs hanging over whitewashed plaster walls are luxuriously furnished in early California decor, and boast 10ft. wood-beamed ceilings and 1700 square feet of space, providing the getaway seeker plenty of room to stretch out for a day, a week or a month. Soaking tubs, Wall-mounted flat screen T.V., Kohler fixtures, maple wood cabinetry, dream-sleep mattresses, designer sheets and towels, granite counters and stone tile floors all add to the opulent spa-like ambiance. The fully amenitized chef's kitchen and open floor plan are perfect for entertaining groups, and all balconies and patios feature private electric grills and patio tables to enjoy cooking and dining outdoors.

The living room as well as both master bedrooms all open through charming french doors onto tranquil balconies, where the aromas of surrounding bougainvillea and glowing palm trees complement romantic evenings of al fresco dining or wine tasting under a canopy of stars. The dual master suites each contain en suite bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and stall showers with floor to ceiling tile.
Additional features include Hi-Speed WiFi, HBO, Showtime, Netflix, HULU, and Smart TVs, ceiling fans, built-in washer/dryer, and three fireplaces. With all this comfort, you'll never want to leave your villa.

Guest Access
For those able to pry themselves from the villa, the swimming options abound with 12 private salt water pools and 11 relaxing Jacuzzis, including dedicated lap pool, tranquil adult pool, and the ultimate family pool and play area with its beach-like entry, plus splash fountains and resort cabanas (free of charge). The inviting hammock garden, outdoor fireside lounge area, poolside Cafe, game room, and state of the art fitness facility round out the spectacular 10,000 sq.ft. Clubhouse at the heart of the resort.

For a host of additional options, guests can meander next door to the Waldorf Astoria La Quinta Resort and Club, featuring shopping, outdoor music, six fabulous restaurants, a world class spa, and two Pete Dye championship golf courses.

Main Renter booking the Villa is responsible for their group, must be 21 or older, and must be occupying the property booked for the entire stay.

House Rules
No smoking; no pets without prior consent of owner. Owner may permit small dogs with a $25/nt. additional pet rent. For April Festivals, all guests must be individually registered with the HOA for access at least four days prior to arrival.

Guests have complete access to our home. Our full time manager is available to help resolve any issues or greet the guests upon arrival, if requested.

Here for Stagecoach

The unit was great. We were here for Stagecoach so didn’t spend much time in the unit, but when we did it was great. Very clean, spacious and the decks made it a perfect spot for breakfast before the festival. I would have given it a 5 star rating across the board, but we were very frustrated by the parking situation. While the 3 bedroom unit comes with 3 spots, only 1 is assigned. The others car have to park in unnumbered open spots. That, in and of itself, is somewhat understandable. And we only had 2 cars so it should have meant we just had to hunt for parking for one of us if we left the property. But the issue was that every time we came back after driving somewhere someone had parked in our assigned spot. We literally had to read their placards to see what unit their car was related to and then find that unit and knock on their door and ask them to move. This happened 3 days in a row and by the end we were sick and tired of the process. And, frankly, the rudeness of others. The final straw, leading to this review related to the 3rd day when we couldn’t get anyone to answer the doo. We had to go to security to ask them to help. They said there was nothing they could do. We said we’d been pounding on their door for some time and no one was answering- and there were no spots left. We asked if they could tow the car. Again they said no. So we said we’d just park behind them and block them in then. The security guard said they’d have us towed if we did that.

We loved the unit. It was centrally located and nice and quiet. The kitchen was well supplied. The only downside was checkin. The computer was down and they couldn’t print a parking pass. It took three days to get a pass. In the meantime the grouchy night security man treated us like interlopers. The property manager was very helpful in getting the matter straightened out.

We all commented on how bright and airy the villa was. There was ample room for the five adults who stayed here. We were literally across the street from our wedding venue and close to just about every other necessity such as grocery stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Welcoming and Clean

The condo was very clean and welcoming. Lots of space for everyone to relax and spend time together. Tvs that actually work in every room, pool towels provided, small sized toiletries were available, and kitchen was nicely stocked for basic cooking. The only extra kitchen items we wished were provided were oven mitts/pot holders and a cooking sheet. The check-in process was smooth, communication with the management team was quick, thorough, and friendly. A couple of complaints that are about the grounds and not the condo itself. The pools were definitely not heated and the jacuzzis were not heated to high temps. The jacuzzis were more like bath water. We explored the property looking for a hot jacuzzi and did not find one. Also they decided to paint the staircase walls leading to our condo and were outside of our door prepping the area at 7:30 am with music and talking. It was quite an unpleasant awaking after staying up late hanging out. Aside from the early morning wake-up call, we had a fantastic time and would definitely return in the future.

Perfect location; beautiful property

Rented this with another couple for four nights. Amazing location, near fantastic golf and old town La Quinta. Beautiful gated community next door to La Quinta Resort. The condo was in perfect condition and perfect size for 4-6 adults. The common facilities (pool, snack bar, fitness studio) were all clean and in great shape. Working with Legacy Villas (and Dan) was a pleasure. We'll certainly be back.

Best of Legacy Villas

Having stayed in a lower level unit prior, being on the second level was a better experience. The 2-3 bedroom units are large with high ceilings. The kitchens in most of the units need to be updated but overall we would stay here again and again. Great location, beautiful surroundings, wonderful space for family.

4-Day Stay

The rooms were very nice and everything was well cleaned. All the amenities provided in the rooms were extremely useful and made the stay much better. The entire place is nice and quiet, minus the cicadas, and it is quite enjoyable. The pools were mostly empty our entire stay, but the water wasn’t very cold. The shower tended to run hot for us, but we dealt with it. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The condo was in an excellent location within the community. It was very clean and well decorated. The view of the fountains from the balconies was very relaxing. The only downside was lugging the suitcases up the long flight of stairs. It’s a walk-up with no elevator. Parking spot is located down the street.

Great accomodations-definitely do again

The property itself is lovely. Lots of pools, grill food was good, exercise facility had a good variety of equipment and was easy to use. The unit we had was well-laid out for a three generation family like ours, with parents and kids in one section and grandparents able to have their own privacy and quiet space. Very clean, spacious, well-maintained, well-stocked kitchen. I can't think of anything that we didn't love about this place.

Wonderful!

We loved everything about this place. The condo was clean and very comfortable. The location was great. Parking was easy. The pool was really nice. We loved the cabanas and were happy to have the on-site cafe open so we could order lunch without leaving the pool. We would love to return someday and would happily rent this very same property.

Very nice well layer out unit

Overall the unit itself was excellent and everything worked well The one downside is the parking. The HOA does not enforce or penalize others for parking in the reserved space for this unit. The reserved space is constantly occupied by illegal parked cars. They need a towing policy.

Nice weekend getaway

The condo at legacy villas was great. It accommodated three adult couples for the weekend and all were pleased with the location, amenities, and the resort style atmosphere. Very relaxing and would recommend it.
