The staff were friendly at check-in. When we got to our room, I noticed that the safe box was locked, the conditioner container was empty, and there were no napkins. I tried to contact room service, but the phone line didn't work (it was disconnected). I went to the front desk to request that the issues be resolved. I was told that someone would be sent to fix them, but no one showed up. At night, the room next to us was very noisy until 1 a.m. Unfortunately, the phone line was disconnected, and there was no way to notify the front desk unless I got dressed and went downstairs, which was very inconvenient. The breakfast was very mediocre. For those for whom breakfast is the main meal of the day, I would recommend having it at other breakfast places in town.

Great service, clean and comfortable. The breakfast that was included in the room rate is great, there is a great selection and they have an omelette station. Rooms are spacious and have all essentials. Close to restaurants and bars. A great spot to RELAX👍

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past 10 years. It’s in a great location, across the street from La Quinta village. Near golf courses, especially PGA west. The hotel is always clean. Polite staff. Good breakfast buffet.

The hotel was very clean and quiet! Location was great, plenty to see and do within walking distance. Breakfast was great, nice pool! Only complaint is that the AC units inside the rooms struggled. The first night it got to 79 in our room, so we were moved the next morning. Our second room had the same issue. The AC would run, get to mid 70s but never stayed cool for long. Other than that, we had no issues.

It was like stepping into a hotel that just opened in 1999 - just felt so outdated, old carpet, wallpaper in the rooms, not sure why it would not be updated at this point. Felt old and dingy. Will never stay here again.

The room air conditioning did not work properly, but it was too late to call when we noticed. Also, the bed sheets and pillows were not soft on the bed and the pull-out couch bed was horrible to sleep on. The living room and restroom were very clean thankfully.

Our casita was dirty. Needed vacuuming. The furniture was dirty. The couch/bed in the living room was horrible. Felt like it was broken. Uncomfortable to sit in and absolutely could not sleep on. I ended up sleeping on the floor on a foam pad that the staff was kind enough to bring. I spent a lot of money to sleep on the floor. Staff was great!

The AC did not work well. At least they had it set for high temps above 78 during the day. Starting at 8pm it would cool down to 74, but if the door opened to the room the temp would go up. They said it was to keep costs low. Bed was uncomfortable. And there was no plant based ,ilk available so if you are lactose intolerant or plant based you are screwed. Would not stay here again.

It was a decent hotel, but we were expecting a bit more for our money; welcome to California. There were just some glitchy things like no exhaust fan in the bathroom, outdated telephone in the room (was actually replaced during our stay), no information on dining options in the area or things to do. They did have a scanable qr code for services, etc. but more info in paper form would have been handy.

Horel was great, we stayed one night for a baseball tournament, and it was all we needed. Breakfast was great, room was nice, clean and comfy. Everyone was very happy.
