It is an ideal location to access various parts of the park. The house is very clean and well-appointed. The beds are comfortable and the house has been updated nicely. The furnishings in the house were high quality - comfortable beds, good kitchen appliances and gear for cooking, bathrooms nicely updated, etc. As others note, the location is unbelievable -- we walked down to the river several days to fish or watch the sunset, we walked a few steps to the 1mile trail in ONP to the Mora Ranger Station, or we enjoyed just walking around the property enjoying the mature trees. It's set far back out of sight of the road and the neighbors, so the only noise is the birds chirping!Location is a good central hub for exploring different parts of Olympic NP and Olympic peninsula. Loved the location. The house itself was super clean and adequate, though incredibly generic and meh. The new carpet has lots of off-gassing that I smelled immediately upon arriving.
