The house is big, beautiful, and cozy, has a stunning view of and easy access to Pine Lake, not to mention five minutes from lots of local restaurants. It’s also 20 minutes away from nearby New Buffalo (more great restaurants & shopping & access to Lake Michigan.)And of course the Indiana Dunes National Park runs along Lake Michigan for miles with lovely beaches, close up views of the dunes, and sightings of birds and other wildlife.Our host couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The thought and furnishings that have gone into this house are truly impressive. Comfortable sitting areas, top of the line beds, a kitchen I’d love to have at home, and not one, but two decks overlooking Pine Lake, let’s not forget 2 1/2 baths with great showers! The house was spacious (more so than the pictures even suggest), nicely appointed with nice furniture, decorations, and kitchen tools and accessories. There was not a single thing we wanted for while staying there. The location, looking out over Stone Lake was quiet and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the upper level screened porch which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather without dealing with bugs. The LaPorte area was beautiful with many interesting restaurants. One of our favorites was a stop at 'Round The Clock Diner for breakfast on our last morning there. We had a wonderful stay… The house was so clean and comfortable. Jamie was great, responded quickly to anything I needed. Love the location, close to some really good restaurants, just five minutes away. My favorite thing to do during my stay was to sit on the screened in porch every morning drinking my cup of coffee… Miss it so much. Extremely clean, all the amenities you can think of…even down to the wireless bluetooth speaker that I could move around everywhere within the house. The lake was absolutely beautiful.
