Walking distance to restaurants, bars and beaches. This is an ideal place to relax and take in the views. Your rental unit is located on the second floor and has a panoramic deck to enjoy morning coffee a cocktail or just to soak in the scenery. This includes a massive deck with plenty of seating and tables to enjoy additional views or shared with other company if you so chose. We have created a bbq and beer garden as well. Use one of the two grills and courtyard area for wonderful meal outside. The lodging includes one bedroom and a bunk bed (note: bunk bed is in the living room and not in a separate bedroom. See photos) allowing for up to 4 guests. Please note that the max guests allowed is 4\. If you exceed the max amount we may ask you to leave the property and no refund will be provided. The main bedroom has a Queen Bed. The bunk bed is an adult sized with one 8" and 6" thick mattresses. The Bell Street Lodging was constructed with concrete forms. The concrete forms offer a quiet sanctuary within your space. Or step outside and walk a 100 yards to Tom's Burned Down Cafe. Tom's is an island music oasis. Not to mention spectacular for people watching. Enjoy a short walk to the Beach Club for a sunset view and refreshment. Your family could enjoy Grampa Tony's also within 100 yards of your stay. If you enjoy the convenience of staying close to the action this is the accommodation for you. One flight of stairs, unpack and park your car for the rest of your stay if you chose. The Bell Street is no longer being advertised and operated as a bar/restaurant/event center. There may be a rare occasion that an event happens (more to help the community). Please check our website calendar at https://www.bellstreettavernmi.com. Click on the calendar tab and see if anything is posted. There are a total of 4 units as a part of this building and there may some noise from your neighbors (similar to an apartment). We just want you to be aware this is not a single family rental unit. Please be mindful of the Ferry schedule. We can not offer a refund if you can't make the last boat. Please check their website for any travel advisories before traveling. Also, if you are booking very close to your arrival date please pay attention to our strict cancellation policy. Note: Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. That was until we found street and narcotic prescription drugs (with labels scratched off) in the night stand. They state "The concrete forms offer a quiet sanctuary within your space". Yeah nope. Walls are paper thin. You could hear everything. So it was far from a quiet sanctuary. You could literally hear someone fart in the next unit. There was a dirty plate and a dirty pan found mixed in with the clean dishes, so we washed everything we used before using it. Who ever is in charge of cleaning and inspecting definitely didn't do their job. When certain issues were brought to the host attention there was just excuse after excuse on why it was like that. We will definitely not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. The island itself was amazing. We will be returning to island just different accommodations. ##### George S. This is the first time staying right in the middle of town. The room was amazing. Clean, spacious, had A/C, and was within walking distance to the shops and bars/restaurants. Being housed right there we were able to have our family split and go off on their own for some walks, shopping, moped riding, or for drinks. Dave was so fantastic to work with throughout the entire process and made sure our stay was special and perfect. Dave also helped us through some last minute wedding issues that happened to us and truly allowed us to have the best wedding week, he even checked in on us when we arrived. The space is very large and well furnished and decorated. The outdoor space was lovely, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony during a heavy rainstorm. Our only complaint was that the couch was pretty well-used, and there were TONS of crumbs between the cushions.
