We appreciated the location in the less noisy part of the Malecon, and the close proximity to the wonderful vibrant public markets, plus the delightful art museum. Our favorite activity was to explore the streets up from the beach where the local residents went about their business while tourists like us packed the Malecon. Breakfast was a disappointment. Basically, ordinary food and quite expensive compared to local restaurants in the residential areas. Consequently we had just one meal in the hotel. Even tho the elevator was being repaired and we were on the 3third floor. And no refrigerator in our room. The restaurant was excellent.
