La Martre Vacation Packages

The first night, the gentleman working at reception was incredibly helpful and kind. We arrived at the hotel after midnight, and I was travelling alone with my 5-year-old daughter who was already asleep. He was excellent and made the late arrival much easier. Unfortunately, the following morning was a completely different experience. We had only stayed for around 5–6 hours and, as I was alone with a small child and had three suitcases, I asked the reception staff for help carrying my luggage when checking out. I waited around 40 minutes for assistance, but the man working at reception refused to help. He told me that he was alone at reception, despite there being three staff members there. He also said that a buggy was not available, yet I personally saw other guests having their luggage transported using the buggy right in front of me. This happened on the morning of 10 August, at around 10am. I found the attitude extremely disappointing and completely lacking in basic customer service. Travelling alone with a young child and three suitcases, I expected at least a little understanding and assistance. Unfortunately, this was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

Great value, nice kitchenette and a great room. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Would recommend this place, and come back another time for sure.

Once you get there the hotel is quite clean and modern. It is located on the other side of the train station with under and over passes (many stairs, lift not working) to the station - with luggage not nice. there is absolutely nothing (no restaurants , shops, bars nada) on this side of the tracks so must cross over via stairs and by pass to do anything.
