Located in the heart of La Jolla you can take a stroll to restaurants and the village of La Jolla or enjoy walking along the shoreline. Enter this charming 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath, 1,880 sq. ft. 2-story home and find yourself in a fantastic living room with vaulted ceilings (a fireplace for décor only), and lots of comfortable seating. This room opens up to a patio plenty large enough for lounging, sunning, or dining. A modern kitchen has all the amenities you need to create meals and snacks for your family. A kitchen bar with 2-high top stools is right next to a dining area that seats 6. An enclosed front patio offers the ease of a barbecue and dining al fresco for 8 as you watch the evening sky turn to night. A back yard lawn with a private patio and comfortable seating – creating two ideal outside areas for those who wish to spend more time inside than out. The king primary suite feels like a large, spacious airy loft with its vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable, a flat screen TV, and an en suite bath that features 2 vanity sinks, a large soaking tub, and a large walk-in shower. There is a twin bunk bed bedroom on the 2nd floor with an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. This bedroom also has its own private patio. The floor plan lends itself to easy living and entertaining. There are French doors, hardwood floors, and decking. Bliss! There is a queen guest bedroom on this ground level with a large flat screen TV, and an en suite bath with a shower tub combination, and access to the outside patio. This bedroom makes things easier if any of your guests cannot easily navigate stairs. This home comfortably sleeps 6 in beds with a maximum occupancy of 7\. There is an additional half-bath on the first floor. Come enjoy this beach home created for your ease and comfort in between all of your various adventures - where we are quite sure - you will create memories that will last a lifetime. WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THIS HOME: Central Air Conditioning (additional fees may apply) Wonderful private vacation haven and it is just a short walk to the shimmering Pacific Ocean. Private outdoor spaces have ease with lots of nooks to enjoy together or alone. You are very near all of the unique attractions of La Jolla Village, as well as just a short distance to freeway access, where in a few minutes you can be at SeaWorld, The San Diego Zoo, or any other of the many world-class attractions of this area. It's also easy to get around that area. The pictures on the website are apparently older, so there have been a few changes to the property. The inside of the property was relatively neat and clean, but the exterior needs work: screens are ragged, exterior needs cleaning, outdoor furniture is falling apart. The master bathroom shower is also out of commission. We rented the property specifically because it was equipped with AC. This turned out to be a waste since the AC would not work, even when the thermostat was unlocked. The property manager was apologetic, and offered to have someone come look at it, but we really didn't want our vacation disrupted in that manner. In short, I would rent from that property manager (Ocean Sands) again, but I would not rent that property. ##### Robert L. Small, premium grocery store, coffee shop, and cafes are all within a short walk. Home was well stocked with toiletries/towels/laundry/etc. essentials. Hosts were responsive with communications. Negatives: It was a cooler weekend, and the heat was not consistent throughout the house - the first floor was cold and second floor was a sauna.
